It looks like a buy to me, but some one has quite a few to sell also imho. They have some interesting investments developing over the nxt few months so some good news to get the share price back up shortly.

Forget about Advfn prices, they always show the price as the mid price not the last trade price. Google finance will give u real-time prices.

don`t understand today share price change. someone bought 1.7m at 1.4p and someone sold few share and the share price is down 11%...

My worry is that all the investments look very "speculative" to me.
I am comforting myself with the thought that even if only one or two come good, that should be enough to hike the price .

One can only speculate. They have some super investments so time will bring back some value.

TVs soon, with smartphones and tablets shortly after.
Stream will be licensing out the Ultra-D technology (a bit like Dolby does for audio) to a number of manufacturers including Hisense, Toshiba, Huawei, TCL and BOE with two more well known Japanese brands to be announced shortly. Another interesting partner is Sky who chose Stream for its plans to deliver 4K content and, potentially, glasses-free 3D.



VELA have an investment in StreamTV Network.

news going through the vela website and their twitter feed is quite active vela_tech. It would appear Stream TV Netorks have done a deal with Sky and also some others including marvel. not sure why it hasn't been announced through the rns though!!

Beaufort securities today have a BUY note out on VELA, including their comment

"The valuation has fallen recently for no apparent reason. Set against the unique opportunity of investing in some exciting disruptive technology companies, as well as the prospect of some investee companies proposing early AIM floatation, which the private investor would not have the opportunity to invest in directly, the company is now a Speculative Buy."

SCM - could be a very interesting year for tech plays - REM I think was more for Lenigas than Griffiths - Holding both Vela + BLU
