19/10/2016 08:59 | Carpadium-I think that you are right about the positives, particularly the buys, but what I and others are speculating about is why the share price has fallen so far from the merger highs. If everything is as positive as you say, why do you think the share price is so weak? | alexchry
19/10/2016 08:25 | Hooray Carpa! Believe or sell and put your money elsewhere. | richtea1701
19/10/2016 08:20 | alexchry, I would imagine the delay in Novartis issuing these two highly important products is down to ensuring the best possible launch which would involve more conditions than you could possibly imagine. Do you for one moment, after all the positive reactions you've listed in your above post, think they don't intend marketing these potential winners in the US? We should know their plans as early as next Tuesday so why post depressingly on and on and on about this delay, there's nothing Vectura can do or advise at this point. Far better to dwell on the positives, the Chairman's 80K buy, the CFO's 30K buy, covering brokers continuing 100% buy stance and the excellent ints next month. | carpadium
19/10/2016 08:11 | Well if the price keeps dropping and the pound continues to weaken then a takeover is increasingly possible. Talking of exchange rate, surely this is a positive for earnings? | diesel
19/10/2016 08:04 | Diesel - that's what is worrying me. It has been almost all bad news since the merger. I wonder if relations between Novartis and GSK and the new management team aren't as good as when the companies were separate. It is very strange that the consensus view is a strong buy with forecast share price of 200 and yet the share price is on a downward trend. In the past this has usually meant bad news so I really should have sold a few weeks ago and accepted my loss or rather my reduced profit but I didn't and I'm now holding and hoping for the best but fearing the worst. | alexchry
19/10/2016 07:40 | Alex, hi what's worrying is that the share price was sitting like a coiled spring at the 140p level waiting for direction, this is not the right direction. COPD failure, GSK litigation, I hope there is no problem with the Novartis launch, but maybe something has leaked... | diesel
18/10/2016 16:28 | we had the same sell of before litigation been announced didnt we ? | a1ord53
18/10/2016 15:59 | They could catch a cold then...keep buying. | jdgen
18/10/2016 15:44 | It looks like seller is short seller using robots. If they sell short , they do expect sp's drop | a1ord53
18/10/2016 11:58 | Aye, hard fought gains at SKP slowly being unwound here............ | soundbuy
18/10/2016 11:07 | Not a good sign, indeed. From late April the trend has been continually down but not altogether surprising as the only good news has been the strong trading figures. Although this news was very welcome, there has either been bad news or no news for months. The COPD trial failure and the litigation were two really bad bits of news. The 'no news' is the lack of a marketing plan from Novartis, due by the end of the third quarter. There may be one big seller slowly unwinding their position or the weakness in the share price could just be due to lack of good news. I've held SKP for many years hoping they would come good and be taken over. I'm now thinking that I should have regarded the merger as a takeover and sold out then but, as I didn't, I'll hold on and hope for some good news and some excellent interim results to get the share price moving in the right direction again. | alexchry
18/10/2016 09:56 | p55 May be somebody better informed on litigation or something else ??? Anyway big somebody wants out - not a good sign .... | a1ord53
17/10/2016 15:16 | As i have said before someone wants out WHY ????? | pooroldboy55
17/10/2016 14:10 | vec is offered who is seller ? | a1ord53
15/10/2016 17:10 | Carpadium-it's hard to tell the significance of the million shares reported after the close. They could be a late buy or they could be shares that have been sold progressively during the day and hence the gradual drop in share price I am disappointed and a little worried that Novartis haven't announced their marketing plans for Ultibro due by the end of the third quarter. | alexchry
15/10/2016 16:22 | Indicative of tidings of great joy Monday? We can but dream! :~) | carpadium
15/10/2016 00:15 | Massive buying after the bell! | fhmktg
13/10/2016 07:36 | RNS on that 1.579 million trade at 18.00 yesterday please! | fhmktg
12/10/2016 16:48 | We could do with a spot of timely, positive news to get us to +150p and a true break out from the present tiresome range. | carpadium
11/10/2016 15:20 | Well hope he does. Cheers POB | pooroldboy55
11/10/2016 14:34 | Could be any reason, imo. Maybe a fund that's overweight in the stock or the sector, especially after the merger. Who knows. I suspect the chairman knows more than the seller about the business though. | gargoyle2
11/10/2016 14:08 | You could be right but why a big seller if its going up? do they know something we dont. But what will be will be. | pooroldboy55
11/10/2016 13:59 | There's certainly a seller around, keeping a lid on the price at about 142. I've been adding at around 140, largely on the back of the recent director buys (the chairman also bought 80k at 142p). When the seller clears, I think we'll see a sharp breakout to the upside of the current trading range. That's my theory anyway. | gargoyle2
11/10/2016 13:56 | Bet this is walked down again this afternoon, but hope not!!!!! | pooroldboy55 |
