Having heard the call cannot see how we can do more acquisitions, if cah has already been used from 1st tranche as intended. Profits from operations due say next quarter, assets are pretty much tied without giving more away? I guess we will have to wait until some o the new mines are operational, imho???

Buy in small chunks but that is not the way I like do it ;), otherwise negotiated trade.

Quarterlies as stated by AP shows communication process from AP is transparent. I half yearly will be fantastic on top hopefully plant built/being built, 2nd draw down in July subject to plan implementation plans etc.

Caribaba plant ill reduce opex costs by 25%.

Zim...what can be said about .... PP growing stronger by the day..

AP wants this to be mid-tier company and you can see that by his/companies efforts.

I disagree, these are good foundations for looking forward into the next phases, more news to follow with strong fundamentals. GLA

I think it will pick up in the afternoon as Monday is bank holiday and that leaves Tuesday/Wednesday for the quarterlies to drop, which AP is hinting is excellent on the interviews. Also I think he was very positive about licence without trying to say imminent. So looking forward to next week, this should be at least .75 and above just on current developments, no appreciation of recent news in the sp, imho.

Never know when it could lift off, just like BPC out of the blue:)

I think the next set of production figures will give a lot more confidence in AP. He comes across so well, but AIM is full of CEOs FDs MDs etc who come across well. Its all in the results, the market needs proof.

AP is going to give proof for sure, he has re-vitalised this company, given it new direction and confidence, but its still proof the market needs in the form of hard production figures showing rising production levels, rising quality levels and rising price levels for the mined material. It really does look as if AP is going to deliver this time, and considering he has only had a few weeks at the forefront its pretty remarkable.

Next week will show if he is up to his word and that VAST now can start to become a respectable profitable company.

In many ways this story is similar to TRIN where a discredited management and messed up production have now turned around, apologised for past mistakes and got on with the job of being a decently run entity.

VAST should show its potential next week, and hopefully the market will respond.

I think market were looking forward to the Romanian front. Though diamonds probably good deal but people remember the fiasco in Africa and with Zim probably thinking are we wasting resources. For one i don't think its a huge cost for no return on investment or vice versa massive return.Any capital raising/funding will be done through a new company in which BOD and VAST will be joint partners.I still think near term bet are the Cu mines with or without BP licence and Zim playing secondary part until likes of Giant come on line.

edjie2 - Market may not seem thrilled but by holding in a separate vehicle (JV company) removes risk for us. I think everyone is hung up about the licence. I guess getting the licence proves Romania is ready to do business but to be hones, imho, I think the other mines are worth a lot more and would make VAST mid-tier company.

I will feel confident once we can move capital about but not really worried as Zim politics is improving.

Talking about diversions I think its better for a company to be in different jurisdiction(though still concerned but lets see the quarterlies) as it allows the company a buffer against adverse changes or adverse operations and providing financial flow, really like putting your eggs in one basket.

I think production figures should be good, but there needs to be some financials in the quarterly statement as price achieved in Romania seems to be excellent. Well I guess will know between Monday and Wednesday..
