01/1/2017 21:05 | Well said Sigora...stunning RNs 's and a tiny mcap.... Roy wants a new nomad ...only thing neg deramping posters can see is other stocks problems and relate them to ours ... Maybe Roy is dictating what is happening ....i want a new nomad ..you can resign if you like i was going to fire you anyway ...but i am going to push this company forward... Only 2 reasons for resignation is BS ...this is AIM .... | james_paul
01/1/2017 20:30 | unbelievable on here read the last results a 1300% increase in revenues a profitable company going forward and all this hooha over a nomad, if your not in stay out, if in ans worried sell up on tuesday simples | sigora
01/1/2017 20:19 | And what is it you've discovered over the last few days bookwormrobert ? Btw, thanks Crazytowner for the link. | novicetrade68
01/1/2017 19:57 | Thanks for this discussion everybody - it's been very helpful. I did some quite serious analysis on Vast's mineral resources, and it came out reasonably positive. (Of course, the Romanian play is far more significant than the Zimbabwe gold mine. That's no more than a harmless wild speculation until Mugabe croaks and there is a pro-business government in that benighted country, if there ever is.) But I'm not buying this stock, because of a whole host of corporate governance issues. Good luck to holders of the shares out there. Personally, I'd be surprised if Vast get a new Nomad after all I've discovered over the last few days. | bookwormrobert
01/1/2017 19:50 | Agree completely, it could be something, it could be nothing. I hope it's the latter. From my experience of working in Romania in an operational finance role, all I would say is that that the rules and regulations are extremely complicated | crazytowner
01/1/2017 19:38 | Maybe they wanted the CFO to have a more European role and the guy didn't fancy moving.Pierre Joubert, the Chief Financial Officer of the Company, who is based in South Africa, has decided that he will relinquish his position with effect from 30 September 2016 after the publication of the Annual Report and the holding of the Annual General Meeting. The Company will be seeking to appoint a UK-based Chief Financial Officer to replace him. These changes will have the effect of rebalancing the board and management in light of of the Company's increasing operations in Europe.Great to see lots of new names/faces spring up here!!Hmmmm......... | jayfella72
01/1/2017 19:37 | Pierre Joubert resigned as CFO on 30/09/2016 and Carl Kindinger took over. Even if a director holds under 3% it still has to be announced. | pwhite73
01/1/2017 19:28 | Hiya NT68,Here is a link.http://www.morn | crazytowner
01/1/2017 19:25 | Crazytowner, do you mean William Battershill resignation in October ? Not sure, if he was the CFO here, but I did notice Vast doesn't mention his shareholding anymore on the website, which is somewhat concerning, but it could also be that he has been diluted to less than 3%. | novicetrade68
01/1/2017 19:20 | Interesting that since my reasoned argument here about Strand's resignation all the big long term holders and rampers on LSE are all admitting to having taken money off the table. | pwhite73
01/1/2017 19:17 | Been following Vast since the involvement with Crede as the news / notifications helped guide the right result for AMCs resolutions. I don't hold any shares here and genuinely hope that everything turns out well for those that do and have held over the past painful year. I would personally be cautious at the moment if I was looking to invest. Whilst everybody is talking about the nomad resignation, it should not be ignored that the CFO also recently resigned, which would concern me that there may be more serious underlying reasons than those being discussed. | crazytowner
01/1/2017 19:02 | to be fair to pwhite i said 4 fold ....but shall we say risen well instead...?? Nomad resignation is normally bad news....the share price tanks and stays tanked.... but indicators here say the opposite...agree they are only indicators but many have made good money and sold... the good news rns`s are good news and would have been released whenever......imo Roy wants another nomad , relations wernt good ...SH decided to resign...looking at the share price movement and strength buyers tend to agree....tho if nomad news isnt v soon the share price will drop away... | james_paul
01/1/2017 18:58 | Jungmana It was not me that said VAST has risen four fold. I was only repeating someone's statement in my reply. james_paul 1 Jan '17 - 16:38 - "If VAST had serious problems with compliance or finance why has the share price risen nearly 4 fold since nomad news" | pwhite73
01/1/2017 18:48 | Pwhite - vast is up only one fold if you consider the volume of trades. The drop from 0.16p to 0.11p was very brief . Less than 100m volume out of 4.4bn shares in issue was bought under 0.14p. Most new comers here paid 0.14p+So your statement that vast has risen nearly four fold is wrong.Onwards and upwards to 1p short term | jungmana
01/1/2017 18:46 | Yes. It is just my opinion here that's all. Furthermore on many stocks that have announced a nomad resignation I would stick my neck out and say its going bust but on VAST I truly have absolutely no idea which way this will pan out. But I don't care what anybody says a nomad resignation is always a bad thing always. This is why all my posts are centred around the upcoming resignation. | pwhite73
01/1/2017 18:32 | pwhite is working solely for no1.... no need for a 30 line answer...you have many to hand tho im sure.. You would agree that your opinion is only your opinion...?? Simple yes or no....which we can all appreciate and be bothered to read.... | james_paul
01/1/2017 18:00 | Posters working for institutions - I believe - often and only post during office hours, so unless PW is working overtime I would believe he's 'just' an investor sharing experiences of having been burned on AIM a few times. In general, I agree with the gist of his statements as I really want to see the Nomad announcement as soon as, and when that comes, then I think Vast can quite likely double again given the recent announcements. But it has to be said too, that if there's no Nomad announcement the next couple of weeks, investors will get nervous and that would include myself too. | novicetrade68
01/1/2017 17:56 | He's right this time | turbotrader2
01/1/2017 17:43 | Looking at this thread, I rather think that YOU are ramping. Reading your posts I can't help but think of the old adage, if somebody uses the word "multi-bagger" NEVER invest in that stock. Do you work for a bucket shop? | bookwormrobert
01/1/2017 17:43 | It is possible. Maybe I'm working for one of the big shorting firms. Or maybe I'm not and saying things just how I see them having been caught out enough times like everybody else who invests in the AIM. | pwhite73
01/1/2017 17:35 | pwhite has obviously got an agenda here to keep deramping incessantly..is he working for an institution? | temmujin
01/1/2017 17:06 | Just get in before you look sick | turbotrader2
01/1/2017 17:02 | The shares have risen nearly four fold because three positive RNS announcements have been made since the nomad news. Some of them actually suggest increased revenue and private equity injection. News that would make any share price rise irrespective of any nomad resignation which was six weeks away with the company being in advanced discussions. With regards to compliance it not only relates to company statements and actions but whether the company is likely to ever make returns for investors. This is what the regulators are clamping down on. Companies that are listed for the sole purpose of lining the pockets of directors, PR people, brokers, nomads and other associates. They do this not from profits or revenue but from issuing a never ending stream of discounted diluted stock to the constant detriment of existing private investors. This is what got MTV kicked off the AIM. They could not find another nomad prepared to keep up this practise. This to date is essentially what VAST has been doing in my opinion. However since the nomad news a number of RNS announcements have been made suggesting the worst days are behind it and 2017 will be their year. This news came out after the nomad announced its decision to resign. With these positive announcements is what I assume VAST will try and engage the services of a new nomad. If another nomad believes them to be true then I can see no problem in them securing a new nomad and an announcement being made 07:00 03/01/2017. If other nomads believe these announcements were made simply to counteract the Strand resignation then I can see trouble ahead. | pwhite73
01/1/2017 16:56 | That's my thinking - for the moment too - if there were serious concerns, as others have pointed out, the 'City' would know and would have used the buying frenzy too off-load big time and there probably would have been no rise in the share price As it happens, when the Nomad resignation news came there were some peeps selling at 0.0011 and look where we are now. | novicetrade68 |
