Dodgeman.Join the club! If you can hold off selling and wait till next week that loss can be turned into profit

Watch the bounce first thing Monday morning. VANCO might release an RNS to stop the share price from dropping.

Then sell.6p is not a great amount of loss, and the stock may very well drop further if there are nervous people about like yourselves.Quick bucks take longer to get these days!!!

You need to stop questioning your judgement and understand that Rome was not built in a day.The stock will go like this whilst it finds its level.Either way there is always Monday to look forward to.The stock can take large drops but recovery also occurs

In for a recovery punt at 113p. It's been on my watch list for some time, but fortunately I've stayed out for several months so was not caught out by todays slide.

This could result in the company becoming a bid target. Annual sales circa £200m, operating profit circa £12m and interest charges circa £7m. Market cap circa £72m and net debt circa £79m so a growing business with foundations standing on quicksand.

An interesting opportunity for a larger Telecoms player who has cash !

Lots of buys being reported as sells as price fluctuates. I bought 20000 @ 1.105 on a T Trade & got reported as a sell too. Expect at least a 10% bounce from here before market settles down to decide what VAN is worth IMO

A while ago I tried to make sense of the company's accounts, and failed. (I wasn't the only one ... they got a new FD, didn't they?) Hence stayed away.

Now the KoD - "Vanco remains in compliance with its banking covenants."

Moral - if the balance sheet shouts #NO# you might miss some gains along the way, but you'll avoid the big losses. (Leadcom was another.)

That trading update has really screwed things, stopped out at 148p for a small loss thankfully. Going to be a rocky ride from here I think will be watching from the sidelines.

convenient negative broker comment just when the share price was about to move....you would almost believe they wanted to keep the share price down

never!

Interesting .... the financial institutions are taking more of an interest

Vanco PLC said shareholder J O Hambro Capital Management Group Ltd has increased, on Dec 13, its stake in the company to about3.38 mln shares, or 5.28 pct of the voting rights, from 2.97 mln shares.

sharp drop this pm...news of "no bid" broke to dispel any rumour??

still in a solid upward pennant formation even so...but that £2 resistance needs to be broken on high volume to confirm breakouot...
