01/2/2008 15:55 | linney r you gonna pay dogdog, if it falls further..i doubt it. that is a silly thing to say. | jailbird
01/2/2008 15:50 | Dodgeman.Join the club! If you can hold off selling and wait till next week that loss can be turned into profit | linney3
01/2/2008 15:33 | Didn't take much for it to drop, but it's gona take hell of a lot buys to get back up there. | chrisc168
01/2/2008 15:32 | Dogdogman Watch the bounce first thing Monday morning. VANCO might release an RNS to stop the share price from dropping. | chrisc168
01/2/2008 15:30 | Then sell.6p is not a great amount of loss, and the stock may very well drop further if there are nervous people about like yourselves.Quick bucks take longer to get these days!!! | linney3
01/2/2008 15:20 | You need to stop questioning your judgement and understand that Rome was not built in a day.The stock will go like this whilst it finds its level.Either way there is always Monday to look forward to.The stock can take large drops but recovery also occurs | linney3

01/2/2008 14:33 | In for a recovery punt at 113p. It's been on my watch list for some time, but fortunately I've stayed out for several months so was not caught out by todays slide. | davius
01/2/2008 14:16 | This could result in the company becoming a bid target. Annual sales circa £200m, operating profit circa £12m and interest charges circa £7m. Market cap circa £72m and net debt circa £79m so a growing business with foundations standing on quicksand. An interesting opportunity for a larger Telecoms player who has cash ! | masurenguy
01/2/2008 14:07 | Lots of buys being reported as sells as price fluctuates. I bought 20000 @ 1.105 on a T Trade & got reported as a sell too. Expect at least a 10% bounce from here before market settles down to decide what VAN is worth IMO | wapper
01/2/2008 14:00 | A while ago I tried to make sense of the company's accounts, and failed. (I wasn't the only one ... they got a new FD, didn't they?) Hence stayed away. Now the KoD - "Vanco remains in compliance with its banking covenants." Moral - if the balance sheet shouts #NO# you might miss some gains along the way, but you'll avoid the big losses. (Leadcom was another.) | jonwig
01/2/2008 13:25 | That trading update has really screwed things, stopped out at 148p for a small loss thankfully. Going to be a rocky ride from here I think will be watching from the sidelines. GLTA | mbthedude
25/1/2008 14:54 | A bit more insight into the DTZ deal here: A nice bit of [telecoms] market differentiation. | 02bursar
22/1/2008 16:37 | nice 20% swing....bizaare but thanks alot mr market | taffee
22/1/2008 11:22 | convenient negative broker comment just when the share price was about to move....you would almost believe they wanted to keep the share price down never! | taffee
21/1/2008 17:16 | Interesting .... the financial institutions are taking more of an interest Vanco PLC said shareholder J O Hambro Capital Management Group Ltd has increased, on Dec 13, its stake in the company to about3.38 mln shares, or 5.28 pct of the voting rights, from 2.97 mln shares. | 02bursar
21/1/2008 14:41 | It looks like Vanco picked up this deal recently: | 02bursar
15/1/2008 16:01 | sharp drop this pm...news of "no bid" broke to dispel any rumour?? still in a solid upward pennant formation even so...but that £2 resistance needs to be broken on high volume to confirm breakouot... | sportbilly1976 |
