I believe that people on this thread should be very careful. If you express disagreement with jonwig, a frequent poster on this thread, he will institute a search for your IP address. He has been boasting on the WPCT thread that he has discovered that the best poster on that thread posts from a very particular location. How else could he have found out other than by using a nefarious piece of software?

I have been told that this particular piece of kit could also enable him to look up the skirts of female posters. I somehow doubt that because his salient characteristic seems to be his impotence.

Hey Strongbuy,

I admire your achievement, it is something to be very proud of.

However, my personal view is that UTW is irreparably broken; and that the only way it could be turned around is post recieved.

For years, rather than actually growing they have been showing higher revenue by 2 means;

1/ Sales agents hugely inflating consumption figures, whether or not this is with the knowledge of senior management we cannot know.
2/ Huge and unsustainable increases in the average commission charged per deal,

As a result activity that was reported as profitable is actually loss making,

This is why they are shedding so many people, because they now realise that what they are doing is loss making.

I think their recovery strategy is correct, that is; to cut the loss making 700 fte outbound call centre and focus on digital/partnership inbound sales.

However, I think it is too little too late. Post recieved ship, there is the opportunity to run a nice business that farms the renewal portfolio and generates inbound leads from their prospect database.
