26/3/2018 13:31 | Totally agree on the Q&A front - a few questions answered per month would go down well with PI sentiment. Spending money on marketing/PR through other mediums can follow later down the line Darren - Perhaps advertising that you are looking to buy £20k of UEN in two weeks might not be the best move - given MM or others sitting on the sideline might take advantage of that info ;) | djmoggy
26/3/2018 12:36 | I don’t disagree that they are progressing my point was that they said they’d start shareholder Q&As again in an RNS late last year and didn’t. If they want better shareholder sentiment then they should honour what they say in RNSs, especially when it related to informing shareholders. It wouldn’t take them very long to pick a few questions a month and answer them. I do hope that the next wells at South Dagi produce a sizeable amount, given recent tensions in Middle East, it’s perfect timing to increase production. I added a small amount first thing but looking to add my whole ISA allowance in UEN for next year once the year begins next week. Hoping price stays down until then! | darren81
26/3/2018 11:58 | I agree with you djmoggy .Urals is silently progressing and 2018 looks like the year of fruition ..... but 'boy oh boy' has it been a long and arduous wait. I keep topping up on these dips. | tone the bone1
26/3/2018 10:56 | darren81 - I hear what you are saying about PR and the shareholder Q&A. However the RNS on the 28th February did try to address shareholder questions (like you I sent the directors a number of questions some of which were answered in the RNS). The regular 6 monthly shareholder meetings are also an effort by the company to interface more with Shareholders and having attended the last one I found was most informative. However, rather then throw money at PR at present the company really should just focus on drilling a number of successful wells at South Dagi (to ramp up daily production) and continue with their M&A activities whether it is to acquire new licences or agree a partnership with an oil services company to drill the Komi licence. As was said during the last shareholder meeting - the company had carried out PR by approached institutions who all really came back with the same response which was to grow the company valuation (by way of increased daily production and exploration drilling to develop and firm up reserve figures) and then come back later down the line when the company had demonstrated a period of organic and production growth. Personally I'm happy with this strategy - head down concentrate on these things and then have a PR effort down the line to bring in some institutional support to underpin a much higher valuation. | djmoggy
26/3/2018 10:51 | Guys/gals please please please hold off on any further buying until the new tax year begins :-) | darren81
26/3/2018 10:21 | It is massively undervalued but they really need to sort out their PR. It is extremely frustrating that they said theyd resume the shareholder Q&As in an RNS at the end of last year but have not done any in the subsequent 4 months. I know they have received questions as I myself have sent some in. | darren81
26/3/2018 09:29 | Well crazy and sour Neft still posts his nonsense based on hysterical happenings here (lol). All of that has merit, but as the months, quarters and years role by it does indeed make little sense to keep raking over those old coals. Remember the War is rarely trotted out these days when Germany win at football. Things move on. The valuation here is silly for a 5% yielding oiler with the market indices rising. That is what bothers folk and matters most, although Russia-centric distractions aren't helpful. The company has said plenty of progress will come in Q2 along with much awaited news. They can get it right occasionally and having seen 160p recently on 'promise' then at 85p and four business days to the new quarter and but a few more to the next financial year, I for one will be adding plenty of UEN into my ISA and other vehicles, including plain old trading shares, in the next few days. As pointed out, 85p or £10m m/cap for this is ridiculous on the divvy alone! Topicel | topicel

23/3/2018 23:25 | Evening guys, FYI not posting anymore anything around Uen at all. So consider this the last post. I only ever post on this handle. Just be aware blue investor has had some upsetting news tonight. So I apologise in advance if anything lands up here.. let's just say the lion pump and dump scandal has taken another turn... agree on all bull points for the record around Uen and stay in strong belief here. | gregpeck7
23/3/2018 17:52 | Oil price is going to go on a run from here imo as it has strongly broken out of the pennant. $85 this year? | spawny100

23/3/2018 08:18 | Steady week here so far. Nearing to Q2 and news due on many fronts so hopefully the Easter period is good to us. | lalria
22/3/2018 16:29 | We shouldn’t need to filter Martin. Keyboard warriors like him are ten a penny. They should know that they can be held accountable if they step outside the law and people complain. Unless they are advanced technically, and given the tone of his comments he isn’t (prob a 17 yo boy sitting in his mums house), they can quite easily be traced and held accountable! He has been notable by his absence since my earlier post! | darren81
22/3/2018 15:40 | This isn’t a playground Blu, you should know that what you post on these boards could have consequences as per the FCA warning! Let’s play nice please! If you have valid points to make then please do but the drivel you have been spouting is not going to fly any longer mate. | darren81
22/3/2018 15:29 | Just for the hell of it I took a look at gregpeck7 posts. This month he has only made two comments/posts regarding lion and they were short and inoffensive. Toward back end of Feb he made posts but again only his opinion and no mention of UEN. He did post on UKOG about UEN but advising friends to switch some money here has he felt it a good thing and UKOG very over valued at the time and not producing. I for one would have agreed with that. In short BLUman is blagging this board for no good reason at all. IMO. | chavitravi2 |
