06/3/2018 10:51 | A hidden gem is Urals has to be worth £1.50p+ on fundamentals Producing 2000-2100 bopd for many years New management aiming for growth First ever dividend, well covered, 6.5c (4.8p) a share paid Yield is about 5% at 90p Only 6m shares in free float I expect this to re-rate - some talking about £2 a share, at current levels a gift. | observer007
06/3/2018 09:37 | Collector, you mean someone announced on another board he was shorting? Two guys we know too have been selling up. Could it be them selling? | chavitravi2

06/3/2018 09:10 | The shorter looks to have sold 30000 on Friday, announced it elsewhere, cannot even buy 1000 shares currently, how is the muppet going to buy 30,0000 back?? Waiting for the spike, it's coming folks. | the_debt_collector

06/3/2018 08:59 | Heading back to £1.30p make no mistake. Yield 5% and some muppet was trying to short it. Plonker! | the_debt_collector

05/3/2018 18:24 | Brent heading back towards 66 USD | gregpeck7
05/3/2018 16:56 | Gaffer73, that being so let's hope we get a gusher early next quarter and get what Moggy has laid out above. It would even be worth forgoing a divi to get a JV going and or a placing. | chavitravi2
05/3/2018 15:32 | A future placement is the only reason they did the consolidation. | gaffer73
05/3/2018 15:17 | I too agree, I said earlier when this was brought up on LSE board I didn't think it was a good idea because if the main share holder and management/board ended up with more than 50% between them not surrendering any of their shares it leaves us in a very iffy position. Plus it makes this share even more illiquid. I said before consolidation and now that it should have been 1 for 10 not 20. I don't think we would have seen such big movements in share price had that been so. But that's just my opinion. | chavitravi2
05/3/2018 12:27 | I agree with darren81 - share buy back isn't what this share needs. Quite the opposite actually, short to mid term liquidity needs to increase if we are ever to attract institutional support. So once the shareprice goes up (post positive drilling news at South Dagi and perhaps JV announcement) I would be please to see an institutional placement of shares at higher prices. This will be very positive as 1. It will underpin the price to the placement price. 2. It will dilute Adler down - they have far too much influence/power especially as Mr Sergey Kononov, the representative of Adler SA,is the President of Urals Energy LLC. So would be good to get some other institutions who may ask for representation on the board. This will reduce the risk to us smaller PI's 3. An institutional placing (at a higher price) would raise necessary funds for a concerted multi-well drilling program at one (or more) of the licences which would be required to develop and increase production to new levels >3000/4000/5000 bopd. This in turn will help sentiment to move the shareprice in the right direction (rather then maintain the status quo in perception that Ural's isn't growing). | djmoggy
05/3/2018 12:01 | All late trades showing. That 9k showing at 10.45am was at 9am. | chavitravi2
05/3/2018 11:37 | I don’t think a share buyback is a great idea unless the major shareholder agrees to give back a relative portion of their shares. I (and I guess the BODs) wouldn’t want the main shareholder holding >50% of the company. At current share price that’s not very likely, when we get to £5+ then they may be more receptive. | darren81
05/3/2018 10:18 | I might go along with that model when we hit £5 a share. | martyn9
05/3/2018 10:14 | I'm thinking if share price is under ( say 200p) the should do a buy back.. over 200p dividend... at current levels they would take a very large number of shares out.. | gregpeck7
05/3/2018 10:07 | Greg i suppose that depends on individual circumstances,i personally welcome a dividend but i see where your coming from. | martyn9
05/3/2018 10:05 | Rather than a dividend this year I think the idea of a share buyback should be floated to mgmt. would have a much greater impact imo and be a better way to spend the money and it would be eps enhancing... | gregpeck7
05/3/2018 09:29 | bengal first time L2 is going blue in some times.. Looks like this may be on the turn now... | gregpeck7
05/3/2018 09:08 | @neo - it’s an in-house team so shouldn’t cost an arm and an leg now the rig is in place, they’ll also be using the same one for future drills this year. Better weather over the summer months should allow for quicker drilling of these additional ones. It’s good the BOD are now being realistic with their timings, previously they were too optimistic...as per RNS last week they are still on course for Q2 | darren81
05/3/2018 08:29 | I'll be joining you tomorrow matey | lalria
05/3/2018 08:02 | Topped up. Not showing. | gregpeck7
05/3/2018 07:49 | Of course not. The Russians have been drilling wells in harsh conditions since the 60's. Shell/ Gazpromneft drill to 3000m in 9 days in Western Siberia in the winter! | neftanik |
