Given the length of time I’ve been here , I hope I know how it works gaffer, that’s why I’ve invested more over the last 6 months.

We haven’t been lucky with the collapse of POO in previous years although we have been somewhat sheltered from that given the tax arrangements in Russia. There have been acquisitions in recent years, eg South Dagi that has given us 23m 2P reserves, this alone should warrant more than our current MCAP! Once the first drill here is completed in next few months we should see this reflected in the price.

There has definitely been progress in the last year, I’m sure the major investor has put pressure on the board to deliver value for them hence the dividend.

Eventually the market will wake up to what is here!!

spawny, yes an interesting read, much to do about sentiment towards the oil price. Just takes a bit of vision to see what's coming here. When it arrives, it will be too late,
the share price will be much higher. A good post from you darren81, can only see it logged in though, might need to take (moderating) the p....d off word out, or change it for all to see.

gaffer, You have to take into consideration the oil price has been subdued over the last three years, although UEN has been producing the same amount of oil, profits would have been much lower. Prior to that, as I understand it, the company had much more debt on its books, this now seems nearly all gone. As a producer UEN is highly geared to the oil price, if it stays where it is, or goes a bit higher, this year bumper profits could be heading into the company coffers.

Darren, the problem is that UEN have been producing the same amount for the last 10 years and never seem to have any spare money. They will still need to borrow from Petraco to pay for both shipments as they are still in debt and the running costs are so high. I do think this is undervalued if they can repay their debts and show a healthy profit, like any other company could on 2300bopd!

It's hard to find a BB without a resident troll/deramper, nearly all BB have them. Bigger companies tend to have trolls working for hedge fund paymasters, medium/smaller companies tend to be infested with professional traders that have taken short positions, and expect to profit from the companies demise. Most of the small company infestations are paid stooges, employed mostly by the MM's, or even the MM's posting themselves, this is done to add a bit of balance to the normal positive views posted, they are not there because they think the company is a bad investment, or to save people from making mistakes, they are purely trying to generate business, the constant churn of buying and selling is what makes the MM's their living, the more the better, and of course, the MM's need folks to sell, or they wouldn't be able to recycle them for big fat juicy profits. Just only my own opinion of course.

Thanks Chavi and Darren, I am only concerned as many Aim tiddlers are so undervalued with such huge potential that I am currently in, ANR for one, and when a poster says things like "I am closer to this than anyone" and still slags it off I just wonder why?? eh Neft. I am still looking into this though.

Gone LONG here Thurs/Friday, bottom of recent range, target £1.20p - yields 5%

Recent weakness probably due to T20's exiting.

I’m unsure why a grown man would constantly post on an investor board of a company that he has no investmemt in popper, it really is a worrisome trait.

The value in this company is clear, it just mystifies me as to why the market has not moved towards fair value. By the end of the year we will have two shipments of oil out, let’s say at today’s value we have revenue from Art of

1000*365*64.5=23.5 MILLION

(from ONE of our locations!!!!)

using the net back amount on the last shipment this would give a profit of

1000*365*45.08=16.45 MILLION

That’s not even factoring in the other 1300 BOPD that we produce at Pet, where we have a refinery which allows for even greater netback than normal. This will be further enhanced in the next few months by the output from the first well at South Dagi, this oil will be moved to P where it will further utilise the refinery owned by UEN there, offering further efficiency!

We have a total debt of 3.8 million, Given we paid down 8.5 million of debt at end of last year with one shipment, we will be completely debt free by the time of first shipment. I am an expecting a much healthier dividend this year given the less debt to pay off. Total dividend last year was 700k, we could easily quadruple that this year to 2.8m (that’s 22.4 cents = 16.23p at today’s rates per share!!) and still have plenty of cash reserves left over.

With some banks seeing even higher POO these numbers could be further inflated before EOY.

In summary, this is ludicrously undervalued!!

Because he has an axe to grind, he will be saying the same when it hits £3 which it may well do this year.

Morning Neft, As someone who has only been watching this share for a short while, why are you so anti UEN, what makes you post comments like that? why is putting money in a shredder just as good as UEN?

Again, Neft is absolutely correct... Shredders can totally destroy money.

I think that they’ll have more money this year gaffer with 2 shipments at a higher POO.

Given they paid off 8.5m of debt after the last shipment and only have 3.8m of debt left, the next shipment should clear this, allow for an even healthier divi and still have plenty leftover for cash reserves!

Thanks Martyn, i must say even without the well the company is extremely cheap, maybe rather than giving out divis they can go and buy another asset elsewhere.
