10/4/2017 14:57 | Good that we have a date for the CPR on all of UEN's licences. This is important to enable ratification of reserves and reclassification in standard terms (P1/P2/P3 rather then Russian classification which is currently used on some of the licences). It is important to carry out the CPR to make UEN more attractive to larger investors and possibly JV partners (for Komi/Articneft development). | djmoggy
10/4/2017 14:51 | Hopefully when the market digests this news,we should see some buying!! | martyn9

10/4/2017 13:22 | Yes stylo,it does make you wonder.What agenda do they have? | martyn9
10/4/2017 13:07 | If LSE shows this as a buy so does level 2, Oil is up so why oh why is this being marked down. It there any limit to these MM games. | stylo
10/4/2017 12:57 | Oil looking very strong..Brent $56 | calmtrader
10/4/2017 12:52 | Chav,its showing as a buy on level 2 also. | martyn9
10/4/2017 12:37 | That 150k green line would seem to be a buy @ 6.0176. according to LSE. | chavitravi2
10/4/2017 10:11 | Guys I'm not anti and have been invested here for a very long time and like you all would like to see a decent return. I'm just pointing out that volumes from Dec until now have not been consistent with historic volumes. | wanna brew
10/4/2017 09:55 | ChavThose peers are Russian as UEN so eloquently pointed out with their presentation. | wanna brew
10/4/2017 09:30 | Wanna, you've answered your own question, legacy issues end off. This is a different company today coming from strength now. What happens or how the syrian farce will affect us is anybodies guess!! | martyn9
10/4/2017 08:36 | Wanna, in the past one word marked this lower than its peers, Russian.! | chavitravi2
09/4/2017 10:54 | TopWarm here too but not that warm as 31. With respect to oil price etc, UEN's share price has never correlated, even in the good old days of 100 $, UEN never reflected that. If anyone can prove me wrong then please let know The question has to be why the market has over the years consistently marked this much lower than its peers? Perhaps someone has a good answer. Is it just legacy issues from the days of £3 share price Why did the Co have to go to such lengths to show how undervalued it is and to reaffirm that no finance was needed. The turnover of stock does intrigue me as over the last 4 months, we've probably seen more turnover than in a whole year. Now that could be just the likes of you and me but why all of a sudden. UEN has been a bargain for years. The Co have made all their subsidiaries self financing. Let's see if any unfolds | wanna brew
08/4/2017 21:32 | Seriously wannabrew, are you simply ignoring the OPEC and then Russian production cut announcements as the only sensible trigger? As everyone has said, me included, it is normal PI buying levels churning over with trading sells. I missed the 7p otherwise I would have been responsible for 250,000 turnover myself...Calm, Canny and many others have been dabbling too. And, as I suggested, have a look at most other oilers since late November and you'll see the whole sector was bid. Like I say, I hope you've got a finely tuned sixth sense and someone is buying stealthily to bother Adler's hold here, but there is not much rationale behind it IMHO. 25 degrees in 31 is good enough while we wait for the next move up anyway! 08/4/2017 13:52 | My thoughts on accumulation are just based on historic trading patterns. Last year and years before trading would be high around news and then would dip to almost zero. Some weeks barely 200k of shares would be exchanged. Something sparked some interest around 18th Dec and has continued. History will tell us, similar trading patterns happened as Fire East made their accumulation. A slow buying by stealth over 4 months. We cannot really say what is happening now but such trading volumes over such a period have not been the norm. | wanna brew
08/4/2017 09:57 | Canny without those 2x100k buys, the price would have dropped yesterday looking at buys v sells.Keep propping us up!!!! | martyn9
08/4/2017 08:13 | Ok Canny so no secret buyer lurking..Next week should be good one | calmtrader
08/4/2017 00:32 | Calm, the two earlier 100K buys were mine. No mystery buyer. | canny lass
07/4/2017 22:16 | That is always the rationale Calm! According to wannabrew it is potentially, mainly, one accumulator in particular! I'd be happy to be wrong if it leads to another tussle for the company and 12.25p talk is revisited... Topicel | topicel
07/4/2017 17:23 | There's a seller out there but looks like there is someone happy to accumulate them as well..interesting!! | calmtrader
07/4/2017 15:22 | Looks like being a quiet afternoon. Can't complain if the bid holds at 6p. I hope all you UEN'ers have a good weekend. Next week brings us a week closer to the our next bit of news. | canny lass
07/4/2017 13:41 | NFP number not good and oil jumps again. UEN must be ready to reset further with this pressure? Topicel | topicel
07/4/2017 13:35 | Asking 6.49 for volume on iii 6.57p for 15000. | basem1
07/4/2017 11:52 | As before then, still 6.25p to be breached before we are free to resume the momentum we had two months ago. Btw guys, I have a little bottom shelf share RGM that has risen significantly, if not better, than UEN over the same short time period of weeks and no sign of a 'statement' RNS there... Just saying. We are sector driven at the moment and need to take advantage of the oil rises since the OPEC and Russian cuts to promote our own company case, not deflate it. Topicel | topicel |
