Ok so that clarifies things that were confusing from the March 30th RNS

Sakhalin Island

The Company is at the final stage of negotiation in respect of a rig leasing contract with Jereh Group, a Chinese company, to be deployed to drill our first well at South Dagi. As mobilisation and transit will not be completed until June or July 2017, the Board has decided to use the Group's drilling team, who will be responsible for the South Dagi well, to drill one well with our own rig at Petrosakh, with the option of a second. This represents a change in the timing of Board's drilling plan for Sakhalin.

This I had mis-interpreted as meaning the Petrosakh drill rig was going to be used at South Dagi rather then wait till June / July for the rig from Jereh Group

This is not the case as today's RNS clarifies...

So we have the following drilling to look forward to....

Petrosakh
Development well #130 - complete by end of June
Option for a second development well (possibly dependent on result of first)
Perform workovers to maintain current prod of 1240bopd from existing wells
My estimate for additional production from two wells c300bopd by end Sept

South Dagi
Step out well to be started in June/July - complete by latest early Sept
Perform 2 workovers
Expected production increment estimated at 290 bopd by end Sept

Arcticneft
Re-Entry of idle wells to increase production by c80bopd by second half of the year

Komi
Drill exploration well to firm up resources - completion of well testing completed by end of May
Carry out a CPR to reclassify resources - by end of June.
2nd Half of year - first steps to determining development plan for Komi.

Seems like the company is pressing ahead with it's plans and keeping promises.

By the end of the year daily production could be anything from 2650 - 3050 (depending on success of development drilling and workovers) from the current production rate of 2350bopd.

This would be a production rise of anywhere between 13 - 30%+ ....That should be enough to give our shareprice a nice upward re-rating!!!

Chav i'm bias but UEN have a hell of a lot news flow in the next 6 weeks so i'm expecting them to move substantially higher!!

TTB. Decisions decisions, I was thinking of selling SOLG and investing the money in here but I think SOLG has a long way to go yet. I will decide nearer to June if to sell and buy here for antisipated rise and then perhaps sell some and buy back.
I will wait a while and see.

Hind sight can be painful .
I sold my SOLG at a gain (thank you)then invested in BMN which went 4 fold in three weeks (lucky)I am now holding trading money. I may well invest more here. This could well be the next SOLG/BMN and I could regret my indecision.

Come on Urals it is your turn now.. 2p to 6 p is a very good start to 2017 !
Roll on June I say .There is lots of news to come.

I'm down at Lowestoft this week and going to Colchester on Friday to see family for my 69th birthday. All seems quiet here but SOLG is moving on OK, 46.25p at the moment.
I wish now I had had some spare cash a year ago to buy more of them at 3p. Oh well that's the way it goes.

6.99p? The ask is 6.5p. They ether want to cream folk or put them off buying at that.
Does this mean the mm's want to build stock ready for some good news?

Understand your hesitancy. I was equally cautious around 3-4p at the turn of the year thinking this rise won't be sustained, O&G sector recovery or not...and topped up (or averaged down, if you prefer) a little late in this upward momentum trend.

Thwarted, as we all know and with different perspectives on, the now infamous RNS 'statement' from the company seeing no reason for the share price rises...

But the feeling around the boards and utterances from the BoD are much more positive than I recall things - only date back to 2010 myself! - and with a fair wind, potential trouble escalating in the Mid-East in weeks ahead, investors here should start reeling some rewards again at long last.

The consolidation around 5-6p has been a good sign and upward pressure is clearly suggesting to me that we should find a new level to bash our heads against soon. Like I say, Easter is as good a time as any for 7-8p until Komi results in June.
