19/5/2009 13:29 | All fun and games here right now....for MM's at least. Dusseldorf, agree on the sellers, but I am not one of them. I've been here long enough to know that holding through patience and ignoring the intricacies of day to day price movements is best to meet investment objectives. Good luck all - but do think v seriously if you're aiming to sell any time soon. OTU | on the up
19/5/2009 13:15 | True mlightfoot. And as sure as eggs are eggs the mm's will mark it up as quickly as they mark it down. | ![]() le mass du pap
19/5/2009 13:12 | Well one thing we do know is that assuming Sherbank continue to support, we will see a flurry of buying from nowhere, certainly ahead of any RNS! Fingers crossed! | mlightfoot
19/5/2009 13:11 | Yes blue85, agree there. Everyone must remember when the limits to buy were stifled at the mid teens. Couldn't buy more than 1k at one stage. How many did that put off buying? They should have sent it up further but they would have been caught seriously short. In reality the MM's didn't have the stock so THEY stopped the progress. Then they sent it down at the first opportunity to recoup and regroup. Unfortunately it worked as each pi is an individual(despite this threads unity) and like a whiplashed herd of slaves the pi's obeyed and sold. Game set and match to the mm's. This slide started when the general market wobbled and someone decided to cash in. Many followed, although not that many to be fair. The mm's milked it, that's what they do. They need these sellers to feather their nests. They've taken it to the fib level of 61.8% at 8p, which as I pointed out earlier is significant for several reasons. Now it's a case of whether punters will return and buy it back up, in doing so they'll buy back the stock they and others sold on the way down, but slightly higher. Again, game set and match to the mm's. It happens all the time, my biggest concern is the dent in confidence it's created. At this price only a few weeks ago people were tripping over themselves to buy. Now they're simply more worried about what the mm's have in mind rather than the company. This is why people should buy and hold. Because regardless of the short term tactics of the mm's the true value will eventually come out... and in that sense nothing has changed at all! Aimho, etc... | ![]() le mass du pap
19/5/2009 13:03 | blue85, correct From my perspective, there are always two playing a game. So those PIs who do not want to play and hold, eventually win. Those who decide to play hoping for a win, may win, but may pay by living in misery imo: should I sell now, or later, oh no I should have sold 1 min ago etc. In my opinion no money is worth it. Good luck though! | ucasavi |
