18/5/2009 22:10 | I was told by HSBC that EEL is delisted and not just suspended, anybody aware of this. | kabylie
18/5/2009 22:10 | Change of the board usually means some big changes to the company is on the way, this has happened to MXP when they were at 2P level, and shortly after they got rid of the old CEO(then I bought in purely because of it), and then seller/overhang cleared, then share price jumped from 2.4p to 8p, they also own bank huge debt, they were 17P last week before retrace to 12p, and the similiar thing happening to UEN now which gives me confidence/hope that 1:UEN will NOT go bust(everyone knows that but still it is a very important point) 2:potential here is huge if the deal with bank to be done and I can not find another stock can beat UEN, apart from SKR of course:) GL all | navyan
18/5/2009 22:08 | Trying to understand what the current discussion issues maybe, it would certainly be advantageous to know the reason for the about turn by Sberbank. Why would Sberbank not proceed with the original agreement, is it because: a) Sberbank discovered that taking back D&T would not provide a quick turn around into cash. b) UEN went to Sberbank with a purposal that would provide Sberbank with potentially a better return. One of the parties has either had a change of heart or came up with potentially more attractive option. The fact both are prepared to discuss this alternative means it is an option that can be workable. You have to wonder if the recent BOD changes are connected. Should soon find out the answer. | gooner6
18/5/2009 22:03 | I think his wealth of knowledge is incredible but the fact is he is a punter like the rest of us and just as vunerable! EEL has massive debts and if the court case turns out negative EEL will be screwed even with a refund. | wally27
18/5/2009 21:59 | I'm an EELer too... think it might take a long while - but still hoping to get at least my money back. Think SPP is still bullish on EEL long-term. | carlito sway
18/5/2009 21:55 | to be honest EEL looks like a goner too and if so it will add to his huge losses with FRR and certainly be SPP119's largest hit in his investing life. Not sure what else he is invested in apart from UEN. Hold a decent amount in EEL so as I said let hope they pull something out the hat! | wally27
18/5/2009 21:53 | navyan, very nice you wouldnt be up on roxi levels too? | shares14
18/5/2009 21:51 | Anyone expect a share price bounce tomorrow? | matt19
18/5/2009 21:50 | I now only hold two shares, UEN and SKR. both long termers, huge potential, love both but had to top sliced some SKR last Friday to top up here at 9.4P, cos I see/hope UEN's long waited RNS will come first and we will be on our way. Short termly I see SKR's next stop shoud be around 20-23p, UEN's next stop hopefully be around 25P-30P depends on the term of the deal of course. but from a pure TA point of view, the next couple of resistences here are 17P/86P/177P (long term) SKR--20P/38P/50P imho | navyan
18/5/2009 21:42 | can you put the list of holders in the header please. | bluepill
18/5/2009 21:41 | Two things that will pick the share price up they are news! and share price levels that will be seen as a bargain ,if i was investing in uen from fresh ,looking that twice in the past 6months its had rises on several occasions to 17p and failed, the down side still has the advantage because the upside has failed even though long term this is a winner,so i see further falls on the share price untill common sense kicks in again,if its happened once it can happen again;-) | shares14

18/5/2009 21:30 | yes i was wary of that ,think it will be hit by daytraders ,shorting etc but long term a good bet one for the sipp perhaps if you are into mining stocks theres a brilliant book by a michael coulson called mining stocks for the private investor from amazon £5 to the doorstep a good read | gibso6767

18/5/2009 21:24 | i've not sold any yet either! I just thought out of 70-odd PI's, each having different goals/strategies that some might have sold a portion - just want our figures to be as accurate and credible as possible. | carlito sway |
