Can't buy any at the moment, things are bubbling up here nicely, won't be long until this sparks into life! Very large percentage of these with sticky fingered folk

Almost 5 years in the making. I'm sure the signature is all that's left to do.

:)

All IMHO of course.

Now that sounds like a plan! I'm sure they've been thinking about it. Didn't Petronas take a stake in a project nearby, just before our meeting with them in Malaysia? Wonder if the topic of North Africa cropped up.... Interesting! Does 2 plus 2 equal 5?? If only!

Shares, your instincts on timing of news are very good, albiet for the wrong reason. Give yourself two months leeway to double up though.

Actually the CPR is a selling tool for a farm-out. But that's another story.

The CPR is already written and has been for a while. Now the Saouaf licence is in the bag it's a tactical release.

The Saouf CPR could value our assets at hundreds of millions of dollars.

I wonder what that will do to the share price

Yes we had a ‘happy ending’ today at Rbd.

Good luck folks, pivotal well for Upland Resources. Did you all read the rns’s for BOIL and RBD? The following para in the UPL rns was the key distinction.

The Company estimates that the Wick structure, which lies principally in the licensed area of Licence P2235, could hold in-place P50 resources of around 250 MMbbl. The Wick well targets reservoir sequences within the Wick structure.

Ought to ‘help’ things along, so to speak.

The market doesn't seem to share that view though. At least RBD are up.

SS put up half the drilling cost for this, so I guess he fancies it.

Good enough for me.

As drilling progresses the movement in share price will tell us a lot as people in the know pile in cause a spike or not ;) Drilling for 3 weeks only from 25th Dec ?

The question here is the credibility of the management and SS has a credible record. This is not a 'pump and dump' stock. Those who expected a big rush to buy today were never going to be proved right...folk still on Xmas holiday mode.3 weeks from 25/12 is 15/1...expect some buys and share price movement as we move closer to this date...starting around 4/1 and more so around 7/1Like I said before the risk/reward is worth it...a 1p drop against rise up to possibly 10-15pAll IMHO & DYOR

Who knows what the outcome will be but as Wick is squashed between two producing fields, Lybster and Beatrice, we have a very good chance of finding something. Do I hear my purse jingling or is that Santa coming back, haha... GLA.

Yes seems some selling... But then anything around 3.2 is a buy not a sell... Still wondering about that big buy last week...Advertised Spread doesn't help.As you say... Will be a lot higher on success...Cpr imminently too...

Good points Mr t. So with all that's going on, plus the sheer scale and scalability Sarawak could provide for the business hovering in the background, we have sellers! At this point in time, really?? Some people frustrated at being locked in around 3p for a while I think, but not as frustrated as I believe they'll be in a couple of months time when they've missed out!

36% is relatively high and helped I think by existing geological data, history of surrounding fields and proximity to shoreline which makes the process both technically and logistically easier allowing better cost management. GLA

Thanks spangle, good post. Mike was asking about value on success, that's why I mentioned the 57p, it's a good starting point but as you and zengas and probably others have said, has its faults. Worth a read though.

Thanks for the links, not sure why when i looked at Optiva notes they do not look like these notes you have shared. Nice to see the notes from a worst case scenario to best case
