No not back in Brasso but have been keeping an eye on it and do think PL will turn things around with the acquisition strategy.

If you are looking at possible value keep an eye on TXP at £8.9m m/cap, 15.68 mmbo P2 & 1500 bopd and ongoing drilling. Surprised it hasn't got more attention.

good post Zengas. I think the mgmt. will make a good deal here and potentially this could be a real good stock to be in.

Brasso3, if the deal is a good one, for example, in the Sarawak region (see link) then the chances of success are that much greater.https://www.oxfordbusinessgroup.com/analysis/unexplored-areas-sarawak-may-hold-vast-potential-energy

Brasso look what EME got in Indonesia in April.

10 per cent interest acquired for US$2 million on an existing untested offshore gas discovery. Drilled in June/July and tested gas.

Then acquired initial 25% & 10% interests in 2 farm in wells in California for approx the same.

220m shares in issue in March and at 2.5p low = m/cap of £5.5m.

Currently 398m shares in issue and presently 18p or £72m m/cap (Touched 31p in the last few weeks). I took up my full entitlement in the £1.2m fundraising in May and got significant excess and only 46% of the shares were actually taken up. No one would hardly say a good word about it 4 months ago and said it would be a penny before they would achieve their 3.5p placing and they thought they were justified when the company failed to get the full £1.2m offer away.

Worth checking the extensive director, chairman and non exec and 1 other shareholding out in UPL. I don't see them as being here for the current assets on the books. If they get the right kind of deal/asset it could be transformational and I've been sitting patiently here since ipo and adding along the way.

I like your thinking Tyler but what will drive the price higher? UPL do not have any significant assets at present.
brasso3

Yes, but ideally it will be much higher than it is presently before a call to the market is made.

I would say 19 out 20 placings are done below the current share price.
brasso3

You would have thought the placing would occur at a much higher price, hence raising more. What do others think?

There are currently 400m shares in issue.

If they issued 100m shares (25% dilution) at the current price (1.3p) then that would raise £1.3m. I cannot see that getting them very far. Struggling to understand the strategy and how it would work.

Interview mentioned they may have to raise depending on deals they secure overseas

I am new to UPL so just digging around. How do you see UPL financing any farm-ins for Moroccan and Malaysian assets? What does UPL bring to the table for such assets?

brasso3

It's all about the projects they add possibly in Morocco and or Malaysia. Wressle is just a sideshow imo.

Interested to hear peoples thoughts on why they prefer UPL over EOG?

EOG seems like a much lower risk investment out of the two whilst UPL may have potential for a large short term percentage gain.

Nice words in the RNS from the CEO.

Very confident of making some decent money here.

With a MC of £5mn, who the f... cares which exchange it's listed on? Same sentiments apply.

Today's RNS contains no news that isn't already in the share price, but I do like its measured tone and undercurrent of optimism.
