11/9/2018 07:53 | Hi Shares188, Not being pedantic matey, but I thought you said you where selling up if there was no news forthcoming in the next week, and you stated that two weeks ago! Are you still invested, or, are you looking to get back in? Genuine question. | copperpot
10/9/2018 20:22 | Henry, I'm aware of the travel time and not disputing that, But we will know what RIG is being used on the 18th Or just after, unless a different Rig is being used. I would imagine they will all be RNS and update at the same time, the only thing that could stop it is a inspection fail , which would only be days and still not be enough to delay drilling, if the Rig is in place. So I'm saying once again once the Rig is confirmed and given the green light, then I will relax, .... | shares188
10/9/2018 19:52 | There are three support ships making trips back and forth from Ensco 72 to Great Yarmouth docks as we speak. Look up these on hxxp://marinetraffic Ben Nevis Highland Princess Glomar Commander The rig is only 2 or 3 days journey to the drill site. As Frankie once said.........Relax. | henrymcivor1
10/9/2018 18:54 | We will know for sure by the 18th if Ensco 72 is the rig we will be using or not, ... | shares188
10/9/2018 18:53 | Is that it lol | shares188
10/9/2018 18:47 | Doughty yea, what an absolute loon in the room. | argyle underclap
10/9/2018 18:45 | doughty, I agree, but the 18th will determine that if we are to be using the preferred rig and all inspections are cleared... | shares188
10/9/2018 18:41 | The CEOs of UPL and RBD have...in the last few days...both very candidly said Wick spud SEPTEMBER...that will do for me ! | doughty
10/9/2018 18:31 | Henry, So when is that rig available???🤔 | shares188
10/9/2018 18:30 | I think Dr Staley is derserving of 3 cheers for his forward thinking in pointedly drawing our attention to dove tailing news with Tunisia with Wick. 1 Aug 18 RNS “I see this (Tunisia) as an exciting opportunity for Upland and look forward to providing more details to shareholders in due course. This opportunity would fit well with the timeframe for the Wick well, which is to spud in September 2018." So basically, we’re not a one ‘tWick’ Pony. If the 1st shot at the coconut doesn’t hit... Steve’s protecting shareholder interest as best he can. If the worst happens Tunisia is right here right now, so breathe easy. | argyle underclap
10/9/2018 16:43 | Henry, It's when petrofec are finished with the rig we wanted to use as are initial option? Henry What is the rig we are using then?? Can you post a official document of it?? | shares188
10/9/2018 16:37 | 18th was actually my fault. There was a document which states Petrofac have contracted Ensco 72 from April 18- September 18. It refers to the year of course. We could be using a different rig of course. I think 121 was mentioned. Best to just sit back and wait now imo. | michaelwhight
10/9/2018 16:29 | Still going on about the 18th. 18th of September isn’t on any official document. If so, post the link. Research will show the named rig that will be used, and where it is sitting right now. | henrymcivor1
10/9/2018 15:48 | Truly Not really still time . But I would imagine the rig we wanted which is available on the 18th should give us a clue if it is that rig ,or maybe they have other plans, ... | shares188
10/9/2018 15:22 | If they haven't hired a rig yet they may be pushed for time to get drilling started this month. | trulyscrumptious
10/9/2018 15:15 | Truly, Have they hired it then? Are there not inspections to be completed first? | shares188
10/9/2018 15:13 | What do you mean a few weeks before hiring rig? We are a third of the way through September, if they haven't hired a rig yet... | trulyscrumptious
10/9/2018 15:10 | A few weeks before drilling and hiring RIG and this is in slow motion... You guys were right my target was way too high, I've revised it 5p before drill.... | shares188
10/9/2018 11:37 | They aren't going to flow test Argyle. | soulsauce
10/9/2018 11:12 | From Amnesic on lse B.B. (thanks Amnesic) Activity at Wick well... RE: Survey While the well's target zone is a few hundred metres below the surface will be fixed and was decided months ago from the 3D seismic, there is much greater tolerance in the rig location at the surface The drilling is directional and does not have to be a true vertical. Indeed, it was originally feasible to perform this drill from onshore. This activity looks like the "requirement for a more comprehensive seabed survey" raised back in May. Especially given the route of GEO Ocean III, sweeping the Wick prospect area twice in the last 20 hours and coming to rest directly over the proposed well location. See my tweet for chart of the route superimposed on the block... I imagine this to be quick to perform and analyse. Checking the seabed terrain and composition for a suitable stable position to site the rig and jacket. Also checking for obstacles (wrecks, pipes, cables, etc) to ensure the rig and supporting vessel operations do not cause issue with them. Some examples of the company work/services can be seen at hxxps://www.geoxyzof There was an interesting diversion overnight, further towards Wick. Optimistically, I'd like to think they're evaluating possible flowline routes. That would be a sign of confidence! :o) But it's probably something more mundane. Ever nearer! Getting exciting! 10/9/2018 11:01 | My 250k should show at 12:26 1 hour delayed, that trade at 4.09 is difficult to say if it is a buy or sell | tburns
10/9/2018 11:00 | vrs I did say! | rovi70
10/9/2018 10:50 | Looks like a few sells into strength. That’s a great option for us all to have as there should be continued strength going forward with Wick and Tunisia now looming very large indeed. Holding tightly to mine tho, just like Dr S and the rest! | argyle underclap |
