The MM's are happy to take plenty on the books at 4p! They must be confident they can sell them at a higher price. Maybe there is a large limit buy order in place? Long time since that volume of selling has had no impact on the bid.

Sells being absorbed. Either the sellers know something or the market is soaking up the sales at higher than quoted bid because they know something. Take your pick
