Haha!Monday gone and 5 August todayNo point in trying to predict any news here that will move the spThe board need to realise that they need to deliver fast to keep the confidence I first bought in around 1.30 in Summer 2016Sold out once after Wick duster and built my position again (much larger than 1st time) at an average of around 1.60ish Target is around 5-8p and with all the stuff they are involved in, that should be possible but seems no urgency and that is allowing a bit of leeway due to health crisisAll IMHO

You can fool some of the people all the time and all the people some of the time but not all the people all the time!

oh for the days of Steve Staley. CP is just an absolute waste. A year gone by and seatbelts strapline was a con.

CP's response to a query to a poster on another board:"a number of potential assets are currently under consideration or evaluation including well intervention / drill-ready candidates and existing production" Existing production would be good to get a revenue stream going so that at least overheads are met going forward

I think that makes sense." Some of the larger incoming shareholders have communicated their intentions to strategically support the Company through this growth period allowing us to develop a portfolio of attractive assets."means that some of the smaller shareholders wanted a quick profit and this meant that mm's dropped the bid-offer.

Sadly, it looks like a small minority of the placing stock was flipped, which dragged us back. I would guess it's this price action that caused a few PI's to throw in the towel sub 0.7p. Whether there's news next week or not, can't imagine they're well timed sells, but at least provides an unexpected opportunity to get in below the placing price.

Thanks for your reasoning but have you any thoughts on selling before 0.7p on Friday? That did not suggest to me any RNS next week, sadly

The reason i suggested Monday was because its the first working day after July. Someone on one of the boards suggested that some Tunisian assets would be allocated by the end of July - not neccesarilly to UPL of course.

The MA63 discussion regarding Sarawak start on Monday 3rd August for three days. Publishing the results of those discussions is not expected until September. However its possible that something on the target (of scale) in Sarawak could be announced anytime after Wednesday 5th August - so a second possibility of news next week.

Probably just another one of nlmbidc throw away remarks. The share price continues to allude to this disappointing again.

Unless something happens in the next 45 minutes the price action does not suggest so!

"As part of the Placing and Subscription, Chris Pitman, CEO, has subscribed for 7,142,857 new ordinary shares of no par value in the Company at 0.7p per share" I am sure he bought them like the rest of us to see the price go up! 10% down today when POO is on the rise
