18/12/2018 11:00 | They said Tunisian news would come around the time of Wick. Silence. | trulyscrumptious
18/12/2018 10:03 | Christmas discounts it seems. | michaelwhight

17/12/2018 08:04 | From the Baron Oil bb. Posted by The Guardian. Your tug boats have arrived. Happy tracking. If the tugs don't show up, type 'Ensco 72' in the vessel name at the top of the page and then scroll down to where it says 'show on live map' | nlmbidc

16/12/2018 21:56 | Wait till after Wick then gom, but you'll probably be out when the resources estimate for what is a very large block in Tunisia comes in. Timeline shows should be due before Wick results. Excellent infrastructure in place and high local gas prices means a large estimate would shift us substantially upwards. Higher base to launch a successful Wick perhaps. Don't blame the board if you're paying in the teens for your conservatism! Good luck | throwingmuses
16/12/2018 14:00 | Yes and you constantly commented on the weather delaying the drilling and other dross because it suited your agenda...that's fine it's all part of the ins and outs of trading, so long as everyone understands where you are coming from.. | grannyboy
15/12/2018 23:04 | Just think of upland as predator's better looking, more successful, and bigggger brother. Do you always want to be pulled along in the slip stream or do you want a seat up front?? | throwingmuses
15/12/2018 20:02 | Better looking than this? Dream on. | henrymcivor1
15/12/2018 19:02 | Thanks throwing. Its a shame about Truly but some feel safer in herds; elephant seals, wildebeast, moose etc. Predators tend to be better looking animals. | gunsofmarscapone
15/12/2018 00:41 | You're very keen on predator, this one very much out the same mould, great journey ahead for both. Take a look at who's backing us, and why, there won't be any distressed raising here. If you buy some we'll let you stay, you can thank me later | throwingmuses
14/12/2018 23:33 | Nimbid, no sorry mate; freedom of speech is a valuable commodity. Throwing, yes thanks for the apology but no need. I’ll lay off now with the relentless Upl based scepticism, I can’t take, sob , that Truly keeps filtering me anymore. | gunsofmarscapone
14/12/2018 12:40 | Good to see you posting Tiger. | poppet123
14/12/2018 12:11 | Good morning all, I trust you are all in a good condition, awaiting good news.During the quiet period here, I have concentrated on SSs other interest,so with good news/luck, that sort of rise, will start here. | hulltiger
14/12/2018 11:50 | GoM is bearish on Wick and bullish on Collter. That's fine, each to their own. Of course UPL is not primarily about Wick imo. | michaelwhight
14/12/2018 11:39 | I agree, GoM. The theory of this share as a big home win has been made clear all year, but precious little discussion has focussed on cash calls in the event of a so-so drill at Wick. | divmad
14/12/2018 11:31 | Agreed !One only needs to take a peek into the Dr's credentials and historic successes:) | stark industries
14/12/2018 11:20 | Ensco 72 rig moving on Monday. | nlmbidc
14/12/2018 08:09 | nimbidc. GoM has a habit of pretending he is a clever know-it-all, deramping wherever he goes, best filtered. | trulyscrumptious
13/12/2018 23:06 | GoM You need to do some more research. Until you have, can you please stop posting your useless opinions. | nlmbidc
13/12/2018 21:00 | Large vat return due back on Wick costs as stated on recent presentation. Future investments will require loan note conversion, yes, why is that such a concern? The terms are excellent. 10% premium to the share price at the time, with an aim to make that money work many times over in return. You either believe in the management skills to do that, or you don't. Any company with the ambition of this one has to raise funds, the two key points are, do you trust the company to spend it wisely, and can they raise efficiently, check check, mate. Apologies for the snappy reply the other day btw, even if your word choice was a little unwise! | throwingmuses
13/12/2018 20:12 | throwing Firstly, I’m not trying to wind you up at all. In building a spread of positions to cover the forthcoming well ops at Wick here and Wick plus Colter (elsewhere) the deterrent here is, unless I have missed something in the accounts: to cover 53.3% of the well costs up to threshold and subsequently pro rata pretty much empties out the wallet. Its no good piping on about “value accretive fundraising”, in this game you have to be very very very worried about money, all of the time. Really and truthfully not out to be a carper or a moaner but it surely is of necessity to start using the loan note facility? Still of we do have a commercial discovery all of these small yet relatively complex E and P’s will be worth multiples. Atb GoM | gunsofmarscapone
13/12/2018 18:51 | I think it'll be getting there soul, and if market sentiment takes a positive turn the phycology of the PI should push it well over. If not, upcoming news on the independent resources estimate in Tunisia should prik up a few ears. We know from the timeline that should fall between Wick spud and results, so not too long really. Then obviously if we get a big number, could make quite a difference to a sub 20 mil company! After that we might be grumpy if 5p isn't holding. By then maybe a dry Wick would only return us to today's price, but a wet Wick, anything less than 10p and we'd be well grumpy! | throwingmuses
13/12/2018 16:10 | Really ought to be quite a bit above 4p at spud given the size of the prize. Unfortunately timing might not be on our side. | soulsauce |
