You need to find something better to worry about.

I would be more concerned for fellow holders if these were not tax sheltered in an ISA or SIPP.

Tyler90.

Are yours tax sheltered?

People own bucket loads of this share and think it is AIM listed....that worries me!

If Wick doesn't come in you could well be right, if it does you can double that double at least! So much depends on the things we don't know yet though, CPR, drilling options in Tunisia, are we looking to farm out or just find big gas and sell it. Sarawak, what are the options, how good are the cream of the exploration blocks, are we going to get high cos lower volume opportunities for a start there. What's the scale of the opportunities we'll have, will they outshine Wick, will there be a conveyer belt of these opportunities, are other types of deals available.
Didn't bother with the ???? But it's all questions, if anyone has any ideas or guesses do feel free to share.

This time next year we'll be double where we are now, just like last year. Roll on 2019.

I think it was soul who said the other day that Wick was only a little more than a side show here. I think that's bang on, yet we all know the truly transformational effect success would have on the share price. Doesn't that just show how little value is currently attributed to Tunisia, Sarawak. Again, we know the reason for this, as was mentioned many times today, lack of detail, lack of certainty, and the value that was added on the run up to 4.5p has ebbed away again as time passes with no news. Sector and general market woes probably account for much of the fall too, but anyway, point is whenever progress is made on those big projects, there's an awful lot of catching up to do with our valuation. The price has been punished for the slow progress, but when we do start to develop in the foreign locations it should all come back to us, and with real meat on the bones, perhaps with a vengence! Partly why I topped up today. Feels a bit wrong to take them under 3p though, guess I'll get over it..

Totally agree Cash. I think with movements in Sarawak and hopefully successful acquisition of the Tunisia asset we are showing that projects like Hardstoft are a thing of the past for this company and our sights are set on much bigger fish.
We shouldn't be wasting our time on an asset that will probably never get permission to drill.

I really do hope they get rid of Hardstoft. A complete distraction and use of managements time and company funds. Drilling anything onshore UK is a mission, trying to get through the regulatory hurdles and dealing with NIMBY's. Considering the other assets, not really losing much in Hardstoft if it was let go.

yogaboy I agree hopefully there are other tricks to look forward to but until signed off we can't count them or more importantly value them.

I have been pondering the low share price given the quite conservative valuation by Optiva of 8p pre-drill at Wick.

Whatever you choose for COS, there is a probably a further big discount to be applied for the "one trick pony" effect. That's not to say I agree that UPL is a one-trick-pony, far from it, but if the COS is 30% then the COF is 70%.

If you are drilling 5 wells for example, each with a COF of 70%, then the combined COF (ie the chance that all will fail) is only 17% ie an 83% chance of one or more successes. The share price would respond well to an 83% COS over 5 wells.

With only one well drilling it's an all-or-nothing proposition, so a 30% COS (or 40%, take your pick) is not going to fire up the share price

There are other tricks to this pony, and I don't believe we have heard of all of them yet, but I can't think of a better reason for the current share price

Ride surely this BB is not going to disintegrate in to comments like that for bringing a balanced view.

Like I said yesterday I am a massive fan of Upl and SS having been an ex Cove holder, but let’s not be distorting the truth.

May be you could show the RNS that say otherwise.

tburns,

I see. Please show me the rns stating what assets in Sarawak does UPL have, or is involved in.

And please show me the rns showing the exploration licence in Tunisia.

P.S. Fancy tweet pictures don't count.

Firstly tburns not Aim.

Secondly Divmad is right. As they stand the other two are just potential and both need some much needed clarification.

Just added 400k at 2.9p, should show in an hour, and Divmad, most definitely not a one trick pony, both Sarawak and Tunisia are potential game changers and we only need one to come off to see many multiples of where we are. Best risk reward share on AIM at present in my book, with odds more in our favour.
