If Wressle continues, yes but what are the looney left going to do with UK oil production. DB may have seen this coming hence the move to the US.

A different perspective

when Wressle was drilled we were told to expect 500 bpd (200 net) - it exceeded that for the best part of 18 months, this year we are about 140 - 170 bpd net to UJO.

If one uses 500 bpd (200 net) as the baseline, the US assets have probably got us back to 200 bpd net in just a few months for a fraction of the cost of a UK drill, with more to come in the next few months.

Wressle declining rapidly now. The drills in the USA won't even get UJO back to where it was a year ago, it's just flatlining really.

Yeah, but importing the Oktoberfest beers from Munich is one of the things that makes life bearable for some of us!

I had some bottled stuff (Augusteiner and Weihenstephaner) last night from Munich/Bavaria at my local bottle shop/bar. Nothing like it.

Its the most wonderful time of the year.

UK is in a worse state than I thought, not only does it now have to import more foreign oil due to the green lobby (which ironically is worse for the climate) but the UK is now forced to import beer all the way from southern Germany, which again is worse for the climate.

I just feel like the UK is a nighmare, and the only way to develop anything is to do it in a low foot print way that makes everyone feel the company has been forced to compromise and they can feel all powerful and righteous.

With Biscathorpe I'd try to find the oil bearing intervaleBP found in the 80s at a thicker part and produce from a single well using Wressle as the template. Once the site is producing for a while, and the locals realise that the world hasn't ended then consider apply to develop more.

If/when the situation changes and reality rules again (the country wants tax revenue and to not be held economic hostage by foreigners), then both sites can have another well or two drilled.

I would cancell those treasury shares.. Institutions are not interested, and PI's must worry that the Company may pass them on to some spiv, who then drips them into the market.
