book value of £93k as at 31.12.22 but currently zero imo - I'm expecting a 100% write-off in the 2023 accounts. if there isnt a write-off there should be!

I'm not sure what this means, has UJO disposed of the ELEP shares?

Curry, name changed to what, Nightbird? Tedesco Folly, Bristol Lunchers,

Karina is right it's fast in comparison to the numptys in the UK and if this is a success I hope does more of these kinds of royalties ones that are paid every month and a few more wells in the same area which is a more safe environment than the greenies over here, the only concern I have is what's happening with W Newton I would like to see that drilled.

LAW you are correct while nothing happening on the UK front the only expense Brammers has is Greggs bill.

if there is one positive from the inactivity in the UK, it's not having to splash out on capex for Keddington, Biscathorpe and W. Newton - this could mean millions more to spend in the US

If its a success, and we go for more of these, you could see US projects giving more oil than Wressle... time then to flog off some UK assets... and change the name

Did have a suitably tanker connected for oil storage whilst testing etc.. so obviously something going on but as normal these actions always take longer than
anticipated???

WN is just another can-kick, I don't think they really want to drill it anytime soon as it would end up being exposed as another white elephant.

What's happening to that testing in the US, they should have completed and tested it by now? Are they now kicking US cans and well as UK ones?

drilling can only take place after June if Rathlin secures a permit from the nsta - what RBD says should not be relied upon

RBD have said drilling will take place in '24 with funding put in place in H2.

No action so far, so it's a resonable guess that drilling will have to be in H2.

only 2 months left for Rathlin to drill & test at WN to meet the NSTA deadline (Rathlin Finals - note 22). When I mentioned this before someone said an extension to the deadline is a formality...I guess we will find out in Q3

From Delt;'The feedback from Deltic's Pensacola farm-out process has indicated that the continual tinkering with the Energy Profits Levy and resultant fiscal uncertainty created by the current government, along with recent rhetoric emanating from the Labour Party, have had a severely negative effect on the ability of UK Exploration and Production (E&P) companies to commit to long term investments in the North Sea. This has resulted in many operators diverting capital away from the UKCS or delaying investment decisions, especially with respect to new large-scale opportunities like Pensacola'Even UK assets with planned/confirmed drilling ops are struggling.Cash

BBC to film a new series of 'the detectorists' at wressel lol.
Lol regarding the archaeologists, I've had experience with this... we had to invite them to watch as a trench was dug by the contractors, that's all, if they did find something interesting it would have set us back, but they/we didn't so there was no hold up other than agreeing a start date which took about a week

interesting comment from "National Gas" re the planning application.

"there are no Natural Gas Transmission assets affected in this area"

perhaps I haven't understood the subtlety of this comment but it seems odd considering that the application is to "flow gas to the existing national grid pipeline"
