I suppose they could apply for the EA permit before they get planning permission - that's the only way they can possibly drill year imo

Dear Heidi,

The timing of the wells will be governed by when the EA will issue the permit, which should take approximately 6 months but could be longer. If it is within this time frame then we will be drilling this year, which is what we are planning for.

Regards,

Will

Less than £40k in value sold against £8k- buy in shares and the co marked down £1/2million in value bizarrrrrrrrre but then MM’s not concerned in a company’s value just the direction in share price so minimise any potential loss. Might start trading again if this continues!

15 to 5 ! Wow . That money could have been used for share buybacks. I wonder what return we will get for the US investments ? Let’s hope they are not another Bacon !

Bramhill was buying back shares as high as 30p but not interested around 17p! Bizarre . His Beacon investment has proved pretty disastrous. His scattergun approach is not looking good . Not surprising with DB . Look
at his track record for delivering shareholder value .

they only earned $6m in 2023 from wressle (going off their $1m announcements)

2022 revenue stated as £8.5m

You can bet 'overheads' have increased

Well it cost them £409,433 in 2022 and I doubt they can offset much Capex allowances in 2023 since they did next to sweet FA drilling and development. We'll see whan the 2023 AR is out won't we.

More interested in UJO share price as that is similar to value lost since floated (ie:- 50p)

Placing last year was 0.15 p wasn't it. 6 months later they do another fund raise at 0.05 p so UJO has effectively had two thirds of it's initial investment wiped out, won't look good in the accounts will it.

so the 430 m cost £774k at the 0.18p placing price

now worth £215k ouch

David Bramhill, Executive Chairman, commented: "In line with our stated strategy to seek growth opportunities in foreign jurisdictions with politically safe regimes, we are very pleased to declare our initial investment in Beacon. We consider the investment to be a good use of capital generated from consistent cash flows principally from our flagship asset at Wressle.

"We have met with the management of Beacon and are familiar with their onshore assets in Germany, which we consider hold impressive scope and upside potential for both the near and mid-term.

"Without doubt we see a synergy between Beacon's and Union Jack's modus operandi and we look forward to the results of what appears to be a very encouraging and value accretive work programme going forward, including the testing of the Schwarzbach-2(2.) well."
