Curry just tried to pm you. No joy? |
I wonder if all this work is a pre-cursor to a side-track |
they must be expecting some serious production or it wouldnt be worth bothering with the upgrades |
2x dobbins behind the tanks, Looking forward to restart |
thx for the link, 2 of the tanks have cages on top, what are they for? |
Nice new bund area |
UJO on XWhat a super site Keddington will be when this major upgrade is complete. Along with Wressle we will have two UK onshore producing well sites to be proud of. Setting the standard with safe, clean and efficient operations. Thanks to @EgdonResources for supplying these updat |
Link to pictures - As expected good quality clean site :-
Still needs completion etc. but another few days!! |
pls post a link or photos |
On XSome nice pics from Keddington due in showing the advance in the upgrades currently being carried out. Will publish in the morning ? |
Wells always produce through a choke. There's no such thing as "choke conditions" as such, unless it's open hole testing, where the well is just opened up to flow unconstrained at its maximum possible rate as part of establishing the optimum back pressure (choke) to maximise recovery. The Moccasin, release noted that "open hole" testing was how the 600bopd equivalent was measured, albeit over multiple short periods hence the flow rate given was per hour. The 140bpd through a choke is probably closer to the commercial production rate at Moccasin which could be higher or lower than this depending the optimum rate calculated on pressure drop and pressure recovery measured during the testing phase. |
I would be guessing but, pressure may have built up under shutdown so maybe it was possible. Is wressel still under small choke conditions? |
Hopefully the Keddington upgrades will be meaningful, we own 55% so maybe 25 bpd net to ujo? that would go a long way to offsetting the wressle slow down |
If it was shut for 15 days then that means it produced 250x31 (7,750) barrels in December but over just 16 days. That's 484 bbls/day for the days it was producing. Which is clearly very unlikely. There is still the issue of Europa stating it was producing 250bopd in early December. It may well have been closed over the Christmas period but likely fur a few days rather than half the month. Someone's suggesting they know when they don't... |
Morning , i don't know why it was shut for so long, |
mark, how do you know the shut down was 15 days, why so long? |
FROM the LSE BB and our and Fatties old friend HEID. Will it have any effect?
Climate emissions from Wressle expansion “not significant”, says operator |
Moccasin seems good, let's see how it stabilises, choked ff .
fingers crossed, |
Hello chaps, with wressel shut over Xmas for over 15 days , no wonder bpd was down |
once the upgrades have been completed at Keddington, will the site be subject to an inspection before they are allowed to restart production? If so, who would do it, the EA or NSTA or someone else? |
I hope you're right maxwell but we are talking about Bramhill here. I do think we've got something very decent here though. |
