14/8/2023 13:29 | Law, they don't need yet another can to kick, they're still kicking the Keddington drilling can.... | 1347
14/8/2023 12:48 | Some last Friday had thoughts that the BUY BACKS had started again?? Appears not so far!! Back for a snoooozzze!! | tiggermike
14/8/2023 08:17 | Keddington has a beam pump which I assume is powered by the local power grid. If the side-track finds lots more oil and associated gas, would it be feasible to install a gas-engine or bank of C65's and use the incoming power cable to flow power back into the grid? I assume there's a flaring limit but I have not found any details. even if there is a substantial limit it would be good to see EDR being proactive re GTW (just occurred to me that the beam pump may be powered by a diesel generator?) | likeawalrus
14/8/2023 06:54 | If you are the CEO of a company you should know how to run it. Trouble is he was not voted into the position, he became the CEO as he started the company from other failed companies. | ctunit
13/8/2023 20:04 | "None of us really has any idea of the complexities of running an oil n gas company" I disagree, there are people that post on these BBs that do. Actually apart from some of the technical aspects of the geology and drilling it's not that complicated. | 1347
13/8/2023 13:54 | Methinks Heidi has had a long chat with DB | karina
13/8/2023 13:22 | Hindsight a wonderful thing?? Next time Rodders next time!! | tiggermike
13/8/2023 13:21 | Would'nt bet on it! Karina--Heidi when ever have I said that DB has a good working relationship with ALL the operators? Just said IMHO he speaks to them. None of us really has any idea of the complexities of running an oil n gas company, the hoops they have to go through, the authorities they have to deal with and the dependency they have on authorities decisions which--as we know--can take months and months. One never knows whats round the corner or what is going to ''hit you in the face'' so money has to be kept back now we have loads of it. If Biscathorpe comes in and CTG makes it possible to up the output at Wressle then we may see an easing of the financial restrictions. DB and us dependent not only on operators but so many other factors. I hold the faith or I would not be holding---having to put up with drivel by SOME!! | tiggermike
13/8/2023 11:29 | I sincerely hope DB has not spoken with her. | karina
13/8/2023 11:29 | yup kicking myself for only taking a small profit last September when the share price spiked to 51p. I think we will see a lot of selling into any decent rise based on Bisc success or a good/great CPR, everyone knows there will always be an opportunity to buy back cheaper with a little patience. a sustainable re-rate will only come with more production, much higher poo or take-over rumours | likeawalrus
13/8/2023 11:11 | From my understanding he is speaking to the Operators--some of whom he is very frustrated--Agree it would be good to see him buying some shares and doing some more BUY BACKS--and those two things are a bit if a mystery to me and he aint going to tell me or you why? It is always frustrating when one has had a string of news or RNSs and suddenly it all stops, then with the inevitable share price drop. There is so much to like about UJO and the POSITIVES but likewise, the frustrations are building. My take on DB is that maybe because of his past mistakes he is now seeing a golden opportunity for us and him to make money but he is being ultra cautious--but as soon as we get a dectn rise I shall certainly be taking some profit this time--having missed out here and with UKOG--remember the 11p very briefly?? Have a good w/e--what remains | tiggermike
13/8/2023 10:43 | "But people should judge him on what he is doing now..." tigger without wishing to be confrontational, what is he doing? "...not what happened in the past." “If you want to know the future, look at the past.” — Albert Einstein | likeawalrus
11/8/2023 14:28 | 18 days since I emailed northlincs council regarding the EIA screening request - nada. almost 3 months since it was opened to comments - its very odd that they invite comments but dont attach any documents. people are commenting based on their knowledge of Egdon or simple the heading 'Proposed Development EIA screening request for proposed new wells and underground gas pipeline', how daft is that. I asked what is the end date for comments and how long is a decision likely to take? it's my understanding that the eia screening request is a pre-cursor to applying for planning permission, hence the questions | likeawalrus
11/8/2023 12:04 | persimmon Posts: 7,060 Price: 22.50 No Opinion Lest we forget HeidToday 11:58 £1 shares end of this year and 150$ barrel 11 May 2022 15:26 Replying to @futurelooking71 and @UnionJackOilplc #UJO £1 end of this year or I won't post on LSE board again. That's my promise to them. I believe I will still be on that board & poster JustBe leaves as part of the deal | karina
11/8/2023 10:58 | Obviously they have an NDA with the Tanker Drivers, the Highways Agency and every Council along the route to the mysterious destination where the tanker arrives. Obviously done for security reasons, wouldn't want that tanker of waste water getting hijacked would we. Certainly more secure than the PSNI anyway. | 1347
11/8/2023 10:08 | Finally wressel 1 has a water cut, it's been expected But a long time coming, | markfrankie
11/8/2023 09:48 | thanks for update LAW. I guess some of that was 'sensitive info', but then if they have it, shouldnt they release it? my thoughts are that the water cut is significantly higher, but they quoted average not to spook market. However we have seen a drop from 32 to 22, so I would suggest the market is already spooked!! Indeed it makes you wonder if some knew about the water long before the rns, looking at the price. | currypasty
11/8/2023 09:17 | I understand why he doesnt want to tell us how much it's costing but disclosing HOW water is being dealt with isnt price sensitive imo. If anyone wants to know they could simply sit outside the gates and follow a water tanker to its destination, plus, EDR has stated that Fiskerton is the medium-term goal! yesterday on lse, MrSwamp said "The waste water is being taken to nostrop in Leeds for disposal" (I think he means Knostrop) | likeawalrus
11/8/2023 09:15 | Great, nice one | markfrankie
11/8/2023 09:12 | ok boys & girls literally just got a response! Detailed financial information of the type requested is considered price sensitive and as such not something that I can share through an email response. Likewise, we don’t detail specific destinations for any transportation of fluids from the site for security reasons. However as advised in the recent comment in the press release by Europa “The contribution of formation water has been long expected at the W1 well and we are prepared to handle the water”. | likeawalrus
11/8/2023 09:02 | LAW--No reply eh? Creates more speculation--but what? I do not agree with him responding to Heidi and then she cuts and pastes on LSE--maybe he has seen the ''error of his ways'' BUT he could always ask you to be confidential? I do not know. I see ''mickybee'' ranting on LSE that DB should be pressing operators, WTF does he think DB is doing|? Of course he does but as an ''investor'' little else he can do, frustrating as all this hiatus is, we either stick or twist? | tiggermike
11/8/2023 08:48 | I emailed MA yesterday morning - no reply so far which is unusual, he has always been very prompt. "The water cut at Wressle has been a hot topic for discussion on the bulletin boards. Are you able to tell us how you are disposing of the water and how much this disposal costs? I understand from the Annual Report that Fiskerton may be a medium-term solution, is this being progressed? Finally, how do you dispose of the water from Keddington?" | likeawalrus
11/8/2023 08:34 | It was 50 days for the last $1m so if water cut started on day 1, and was steady, average =3.72, so end water is 3.72 If water started on day 25, and average is 3.72, end water is 7.44% Giving the average, without the date it started is misleading. What if the well on day 49, and 50 gave 100% water, the average over the whole 50 days would be about 4% probably Heyco/ edr decision not to tell the full story, but will that get worse when Wressle operated by a private company? | currypasty |
