It's a real shame that the BODs salary package isn't linked to share price performance. It may make them pull their fingers out more.

I emailed north lincs council again, asking why I hadnt received a reply to my questions re the "EIA screening request for proposed new wells and underground gas pipeline" from 3 weeks ago. They said they had no record of 'Reference PA/2023/1101' so I emailed them a link to their own website - no response so far.

So Wressle - gas to wire and new CPR being can kicked...
North Kelsey - can kicked so much they lost planning permission then messed up the latest appeal.
Keddington - drill being can kicked
Fiskerton - water injection being can kicked
Dukes Wood - Geothermal being can kicked
West Newton - being can kicked

Did I miss anything? There's only Biscathorpe where they are not can kicking, but the Inspector's doing that for them..

this is what Red Rock Resources said in April - it sounds as though they want to exit asap

Our longstanding investment in Elephant Oil Corporation, which has filed a form S-1/A with the SEC with the intention of listing on the U.S. markets, takes us into what has become one of the most interesting oil exploration provinces, in Namibia, as well as onshore Benin on the Nigerian border. The listing has been delayed beyond our expectation, but we are still anticipating this proceeding this year and after the six-month lock-in we will have the opportunity of realizing our investment.

I reckon the political situation in West Africa didn't help. One of Elephant's two main areas of interest is an onshore licence in Benin, and Benin shares a border with Niger. Although Elephant's licence is some way away from the border, this can only have added to potential investors view of the risks involved.

Elephant IPO scheduled for the 15th didnt happen (again) - apparently re-scheduled for September. I assume this means there was little interest?

when the C65s were due to come online the lse rampers were saying 1200-1400bpd which didnt make any sense based on RNS statements, at best 950bpd was feasible, even that was too high. When we see the nsta data for July, I suspect people are going to be shocked by how much production has dropped due to waste water, hopefully I will be wrong.

Look UJO have been in bed with Eggedon for years, even lending them money at one point and holding shares in the company. To suggest, as some do, that DB has no say in what's happening is just not credible in my view and even if it were then is it a good idea to 'invest' in a company that is effectively a sleeping partner? Same with the West Newton white elephant.

I tend to think that it's no skin of his nose if the can gets kicked further down the road, which is what is happening and the share price drifts down as a result (with not even a leaked placing to spike it). By delaying things, especially the drill at Keddington, they've missed increasing production at a time when energy prices are relatively high and the regulatory hurdles and costs are not going to get better with time are they.
