From management POV it is very logical. The market is offering them money, so they'll take it. They don't need to worry about dilution, because they don't hold any shares.

From a shareholder POV, i'd be less impressed

Of course it's logical...nothing is a given...that's why they're carrying out extended flow tests to prove commerciality...but they're obviously confident because of the previous outstanding flow of high quality oil...Tick Tock Boom!!!:-)

The YA was a necessary because of the delays at BB and so their options were limited at the time. The terms of the YA were favourable and has now been cleared in a timely manner....Ukog are now cash flush with £12.5m in the bank..there ain't many Aim listed companies that can raise £7m at a 110% premium to the previous £5.5m placing 3 weeks earlier...and speaks volumes that many are confident of successful flow tests at HH...On and Up!!! ;-)

Lol bmcb, ain't you got anything better to do you sad troll...Schlumberger are working with Ukog, and so who knows what they might decide to do on confirmation of commercial recoverable volumes....Schlumberger's new business plan last year was to start to acquire and partner their clients assests. Not at all, I'm just stating the facts...how else would you expect Ukog to fund their activities, surely not another YA loan....Ukog have plenty of cash now and are on the brink of potential transformational game changing news from HH...Gl :-)

Maybe the 2m this morning was Schlumberger, as you kept suggesting last year mm? I bet they're gutted to have missed the chance to buy in pre BB, especially as they're world leading experts, have a strategy to buy into oil companies, and had the inside knowledge. Why oh why did they not buy last Autumn at 7p+

No they're not...each fund raise has allowed Ukog to carryout their operational development committments at that time...they now have enough for the next 18 months as well as a potential acquisition as hinted in today's Rns....regardless of successful flow tests at HH ( and sale of test oil ), oil production isn't expected until 2019 and therefore they need to be in a strong cash position until that time, and with £12.5m in the bank their cash position has never been stronger. Problem is Gismo, the previous statements from November 2017 onwards with each successive fund raise have been unequivocal - fully funded! That is why even the hardiest loyal pi is grinding their teeth a little and wondering what to expect next. More placings and so fully funded through to the next world cup? The dilution is not an issue, the RNS declarations on each funding are.

mmmmmmmm........ Here's a thought. That portacabin is not offices, windows far too small and perhaps a little on the large side for loos. But it could be a mobile analysis laboratory!
