Angus have had to build a generator to convert gas to electric, on the site at Brockham.

"Following Angus Energy's guidance from its RNS of 11 May 2017, the Company has completed and submitted amendments to its FDP Addendum after consultation with the Oil & Gas Authority ("OGA") to include provisions for on-site power generation. These provisions detail a safe and efficient production process which will have the added benefit of allowing the Company to repurpose surplus power to the National Grid. "

hazelst, you are doing your wondering again, no wonder there are no bulls on here, they have gone away.

hazelst whats the diff between OIP and 1C and 2C oil ,

you need to know before you buy any oil stock.

i await your explanation as , newbies are reading this and want to know, they need to know.

if you fail to explain, you are ignorant and also cannot attract newbies as they now know that OIP is not the same as 1c and 2c oil, as OIP means not probable or proven and unlikey to ever rear its head.

have you actually seen these 17.1 billion barrels, have you or anyone actually seen them??

are they sitting on shelves in cans in a warehouse,

do you have photos of this oil. does it come out easily, why did it not come out a b bridge, maybe it wasnt there after all, maybe its trapped and can never come out.

maybe it was never there at all, but a ceo of a nanocap using his times table wrongly to hype his baby company , so baby clowns would buy in !!!

Marky---Glad golf going well, have not had an opportunity of getting out there recently due to medical appts!!! Our local golf course---18 holes--now reduced to 9 as the Spanish Tax Authorities have deemed there is tax owing of several millions from 20 years back on the remaining 9 holes land so have fenced off the whole area preventing ANYONE getting on the course---imagine the HMRC doing that??

We also believe that further development of onshore gas resources has the potential to deliver substantial economic benefits to the UK economy and for local communities where supplies are located by creating thousands of new jobs directly in extraction, local support services, and the rest of the supply chain. A potential new shale gas exploration and production sector in the shale basins of England could provide a new economic driver. We also see an opportunity to work with industry on innovation to create a "UK Model" - the world's most environmentally robust onshore shale gas sector - and to explore export opportunities from this model, a core theme of our modern industrial strategy.

At the present time oil production is being restricted in the Permian Basin in the US, because the gas produced at the same time, also has to be dealt with.

Telurian are building a business, by building infrastructure to collect the gas by pipeline, and then process it into LPG, and ship it to other countries.

They are looking for other basins. Did not say if only in the US.

Acknowledgement of Written Ministerial Statement

Union Jack Oil plc (AIM: UJO), a UK-focused onshore hydrocarbon production, development and exploration company welcomes the Government's support and commitment to our industry as laid out in the Written Ministerial Statement ("WMS") from the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and the Department for Housing, Communities and Local Government today.

The statement itself constitutes a material consideration in planning decisions and reiterates that shale gas development is of national importance. The government will publish revised planning practice guidance on shale development in the Summer alongside the launch of a consultation that will consider allowing exploration wells to be drilled under permitted development (i.e. without the requirement of a planning application) and consult on the inclusion of shale production projects into the Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects regime.

The full text of the WMS can be found at www.parliament.uk/business/publications/written-questions-answers-statements/written-statement/Commons/2018-05-17/HCWS690.

David Bramhill, Executive Chairman of Union Jack commented:

"We are delighted by the joint statement released today by Greg Clark and James Brokenshire that wholeheartedly supports the safe and sustainable exploration and development of the UK's onshore shale gas resources.

The statement not only highlights the importance of securing stable domestic gas supplies while minimising harmful environmental impacts but also the substantial economic benefits that the development of onshore gas production can bring to local communities and the UK as a whole.

Union Jack and its peers welcome this progressive change in attitude by key ministers. Being at the forefront of the UK onshore hydrocarbon industry, Union Jack is well positioned to benefit from this revised strategy and look forward to the exciting opportunities that await all of our stakeholders. The future remains very bright."
