Amr, so far Brugge is the best, so architecturally beautiful, however, for countryside the midi Pyrenees takes some beating, the only problem being it rains there more than the south west!

Hi Gismo--Good trip going well. So Got to put up with you.??? I may be a match for you. Had friends up yesterday for The Wedding and poor Wen could not get a word in as Ann--our friend can talk for England!! Maybe she and B should pal up!! We have other friends just the same, and at a party she took a rabbit and when the person with the rabbit wanted to talk they had to put it in their hands high above their head so the others knew whose turn it was to talk!!! Worked! So bring a rabbit!! Toy one of course.

Really lovely weather here now.

Gismo visiting us---I will leave it a couple of days meeting down on the beach---to suss her out before letting her know where we live--a maze of little streets with whitewashed walls!! Ho Ho.

Hi amr, the trip is going really well. Two days on the beach now, need a rest from driving then down the coast, 2 more stops before we meet the great Mikeygit. He's got to tolerate me for a week, poor sod, he has no idea lolWtd, what do you mean, we discuss and decide everything together!!! Lol

I'm in the UK, for the moment! Might be in the Channel Islands before the end of the day though. People moving about and can't make their mind up. Bit like you and your driver choosing your route through SOF perhaps? No arguments at all about which little village to stop in???? We fellas BELIEVE YOU!!!

I was reading again about a billionire activist fund manager, yes you've all heard of him, Carl Ichan.

well he sets about companies that arent pulling their weight, eg the CEO is always playing golf, or takes too high a wage.

well he gets on board and kicks out the CEO and reminds the board that the company is run for the benefit of the shareholders not the CEO.

I wonder if he fancies investing here??

PS On a side note i see WTD is chatting about meatballs again, does he give his tum tum a rest.

PPS, if ukog ever make it to spring next year, all we will hear is holidays about skiing in the Alps, sigh, groan, sigh !!
