We were all waiting for RNS unfortunately this isn't the one most of us wanted.
SS is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't keep us informed.
IMHO news on BB is going to take longer , surely they can't hold back
bad news- on the other hand if there was a glimmer of good news we would
be informed. We are still in the dark.

Production Planning Application

To achieve its goal of stable, long-term Horse Hill oil production by Spring 2019, HHDL now plans to submit a further production planning application to SCC in late Spring 2018. This application will seek consent to produce oil initially from HH-1 & 1z, and HH-2, together with further production wells in a second contingent drilling phase.

Operating in the Weald or in the UK onshore is a regulatory nightmare, which will never be commercial. HH drilled in 2014, short-term flow test in 2016, extended test in 2018, then applying for production license. Compare that to Texas, 7 days to get all permission from the Texas Rail Road Commission, drill and complete the well in 10 days, another 10-15days to connect it to infrastructure. In total 30 days from applying to drill a well until its producing revenue. Weald basin 6-7 years for the same process.

A continuous oil field. Oil from one then oil from the other. Not long before we find out the amounts. And revenues from h.h in about 12 months time. If b.b starts delivering oil in 2018 it will be a game changer. That will screw those stupid enough to short a stock that delivers a commercial update on drill / flow results. Bring on b.b....it's now showing in the h.h results...

Time scale for HH is about as expected running up to 2019. With AIM volatility and easily spooked pis, that RNS with the detailed test methodology and timetable is going to be gold dust for planning out some in/out trading over next year. With some good pre-planning and realistic targets for highs and lows, shuffling money around the Weald players could have some big returns irrespective of the overall share price increases as the testing targets are ticked off.

We now wait for BB results and from there see what the gain is in the new year and plan out a 2018 strategy. No wonder Motley Foll (who I tend not to bother with these days) could resist putting 'make a million' in their story two days ago BEFORE this RNS.

Significant cash flow by early 2019... Looks like the funding will be less dilutive now and the companies future assured. That is from the horse field announcement and does not even include the imminent b.b results..
