How do you know it' a re-drill, guessing again, you seem to be good at that. What part of a 14 week test don't you understand judijudi? It's not like HH, it's a production well. Do you really think he would have gone this far if he thought it wasn't worth the effort. Your posts are becoming more and more pathetic.

For the sake of argument what we have is :-

a definite possibility of a firm maybe.

No more, no less. Be patient to learn at some point whether you are right or wrong.

I know the bulls can't countenance any suggestion that there are problem at BB but for the sake of argument let's assume there are and the well has to be abandoned.

Where does that leave the share price? If we assume that UKOG concentrate on Horse Hill what is that worth? We have a good idea as we have had a few transactions between other oil companies on that license. Sadly the answer is pretty grim implying UKOG's share of HH worth less than 1p/shares and that's before they raise new money to continue exploration there.

The downside protection here is very bad. The chance of big problems at BB high. This is why the share price is heading back down again.

I'm extremely puzzled by the lack of progress reports by UKOG.

When insiders and major holders were selling shares, there was an RNS every few days.

Everything seems to have gone very, very quiet since they announced (as quietly as possible, after the market closed) that they were having problems actually delivering on their hopes.

Bulls need not worry, however. This is all part of a secret plan by UKOG management as they plan to release wonderful news as a huge surprise to the market. Do not be concerned by the fact that they have never done this before in the history of the Company.

Why do you think we need you to tell us that Mr Monk, do you presume we are all thick? You may have degrees coming out of your ears but common sense is much more important in life..

Ha ha I haven't looked in here for a while and when I did there were hundreds of rampy posts by bulls calling de-rampers desperate and a falling share price.

Made me chuckle.

Money Munch you dullard. It doesn't matter what the price of oil is unless you can extract decent quantities. Spending £10m drilling a well and getting two jug fulls of oil won't make it viable. They're gonna need flow rates above 1Kbopd at least and a slow decline rate. If the rates decline by 50% as they do in similar basins in a year probably a lot higher. There is nothing to suggest from anyone who knows anything about the geology that this is achievable. That's why over the past 30 years none of the majors have shown any interest.

Clearly UKOG given their current screw ups have no more technical knowledge than the majors who have drilled before.
