Stephen Sanderson, UKOG's Executive Chairman, commented:

"In the Company's view, the volume and nature of the oil and gas recovered to date from the Kimmeridge proves that BB-1z contains a continuous oil accumulation some 1400 ft thick. The near identical reservoir characteristics seen at both BB-1z and HH-1, some 27 km apart, show this accumulation is laterally extensive over much of the Weald Basin. UKOG as the largest licence holder in the basin is in a prime position to exploit this resource.

This proof of geological and scientific concept is a major achievement and has significant positive implications for the prospectivity of PEDL234 and our extensive licence holdings in the Weald. Our focus now moves to delivering further proof that BB-1z can deliver both commercially viable rates and volumes of oil to surface.

The test results to date are technically significant and highly encouraging and I am confident that the more finely focussed and optimised testing plan can establish commercial viability."

Chairman's Statement 30th June 2017

" I am delighted to inform shareholders that the discovery of light, mobile oil, seeping out of fractured Kimmeridge limestones and shales, corroborates our pre-drill prediction that both BB-1 and HH-1 are likely part of the same Kimmeridge oil deposit. The presence of such mobile oil outside of any structural or stratigraphic trapping mechanism provides significant supportive evidence that the Kimmeridge section across the central area of the Weald Basin contains a continuous oil deposit of national significance. I believe this result will be transformational for the Company.

Lol , I've got a proper job thank you very much, unlike the desperate snide lowlife cohort bashers who spend their valuable time posting an incessant repetitive diatribe on a share they're not invested ( literally 1000's of posts collectively) ...and as I'm 6 figures up in profit I will continue to highlight Ukog's impressive prospects and potential and very often to counteract the bile spouted by those that are hoping for failure....who so far have all been proven wrong from sub 1p....Ho Ho Ho Ho....Gla holders Big news coming soon, Significant upside on positive data, Transformational upside on commercial flow...Tick Tock Boom!!!;-)

How much would the oil discovery at BB you are hoping for be a game changer?

Stephen Sanderson, UKOG executive chairman:

Clearly for UK Oil and Gas it will be a game changer. It would put us up with middle size of oil and gas companies in terms of the recoverable oil reserves that we would have.

If we show that this oil deposit does extend pretty much 30 odd km to Horse Hill and that it exists over a much larger area, if we use a small number of sites we can make inroads into our daily oil demands of 1.4 million barrels.

Thirty per cent is imported at the moment but by 2030 it will nearly be 70 per cent so it's clearly very beneficial to have indigenously produced oil and gas.

Their similarity to our Brockham Oil Field BR-X4Z well in the north of the Weald Basin shows that Lidsey has the potential to increase the footprint of the oil bearing Kimmeridge layers in the Weald. We look forward to putting the Lidsey X2 into production this week."

Another interesting comparison between CTAG (& many other share promotions) is the presence of self appointed defenders of the share attack dogs who savage or bury anything off message in a blizzard of their own posts. Personal attacks & many, many references to shorters, TW, mms & conspiracies to defraud honest PIs (AKA 'genuine holders') of their money feature in their posts. Rather less discussion on substantive issues is seen.

Classic stuff going on here, seen it all before.

Why would a holder want the share price to go further down? Any good news will be greeted from a position on weakness, around 50% to recovery/stand still. Oh....hang on!
