As usual the shorters who have been conspicuous by their absence this week all turn up together to support the manufactured drop on low volumes.

Mm's supported by shorters in the manufactured manipulation of the share price on low volumes.

Imho.

Enjoy it while it lasts, there's billions of barrels of oil and billions in revenues for ukog coming very soon to a balance sheet!

You might well be right WTD, I have just seen massive manipulation here on delays and that is what will drive the price without news. The MM's have the book, it is open to them, they know when traders have to settle and that gives them a huge advantage over us. I am keeping my powder dry although have to jump back next week if I get the chance around 4.6/4.7 Wait and see and have a good weekend

They pulled ALBA back up to be only 1.1% down which is not much to think about and kept UKOG down 4.52% which is a profit take after a run of relatively large increases day on day. Very low volume held it back today. Next week we should hope for a continuation of the drift norf, and as I predicted days back with the some down days too. Nothing much to see here, these are not the droids you are looking for. You can go about your business, move along, move along.

I think, Mr Burns, a drop to 4.6 is asking a bit much. Today the re was very low volume and some profit takers and it wasn't until the last half hour that the mms dragged the price down to clear out their treasury before the close. They may even settle up close to even at the very close of business. It would need a big sell off to drop to 4.6 and so close to one of the most anticipated pe1ieces of news on AIM? Doubt it.

So just over 1% of the shares in issue traded and the share price drops 6.8%, mm's taking the mick.

Total manipulation as usual, no justification for the drop.

Thanks Money Munch so they are nowhere near testing yet. Looks like even if all goes well pulling the DHA they'll not have much time for testing. I guess we'll get lots of tiny short tests added together to get some silly bogus headline rate just like HH.

Oh well never mind!

Well it looks like the drone footage from the 29th Oct (Drill or drop) shows the well is actually well into workover operations. 

I suspect they are using Snubbing unit hydraulic lift and slip systems to retrieve the completion, with the crane basically handling the tubing as it comes out and laying it down (not pulling, just handling).

So they are not using a rig, but are using a snubbing Workover package type operation to work over the completion etc.

I would say they were mostly out of the well on the 29th, it is a much slower operation compared to a rig, but likely they were on with this a good few days before the drone footage, I would expect a further week - 2 weeks to get back to N2 Lifting etc. consider that this will not be done after dark, so it is a short working day really. It should still give them at least 4 weeks to Lift and test up to mid Dec. but i expect most of the effort will be on full Kim testing.

Today

They are using the crane to handle the tubing as it is pulled with what are Snubbing unit hydraulic lift & slips package. The Snubbing Lift and Slips are doing the work not the crane.

Hi Danpoe,

Consider the Drill or drop footage is from the 29th as they stated, Meaning either the completion is almost out (considering the amount of pipe on the ground) or they are close too or running in with String for cement repair. 

Either way, they are most LIKELY to be playing with this for a good week or two, to spot squeeze acid and re-perforate and or additional perforations. it is quiet a chunk of work to do and ultimately much slower than a rig operation. along with working hours limitations.

Main factor is that they are getting on with it, that is the best we could hope for, the sooner it is done then the sooner we get back to test phase etc.

I can't see what they would have to RNS at the moment to be honest, the works effort is in the last RNS.

I was in yesterday at 5.05 and out at 5.60, without news this will drop on opening on Monday and be back at 4.50-4.60 before you know it. Jump back in then and rinse repeat.With news, well I will regret my decision but this is probably going to be December before we hear owt
