15/4/2016 10:44 | Plenty of buys in all hh stocks now. whats going on ???????????????????? | datait
15/4/2016 10:43 | I think there could be a news leak today watch now that the buys have started. | datait
15/4/2016 09:49 | The IoW looks very exciting robbie, especially with the prospect of gas as well as oil which presumably could be piped into the existing gas network supplying the 56,000 IoW customers, although I'd be surprised if it's bigger than the Weald's basin potential given the massive extent of the Kimmeridge interval but another game changer, nevertheless. Ukog's prospects and potential look breathtaking , and free flowing high quality oil from the Kimmeridge limestones, exceeding all expectations, suggests that Nutech and Schlumberger's multi-billion barrel assessment was spot on, and will be further validated on release of the eagerly awaited Nutech / Xodus Reserves Update and quickly followed by the Ernst and Young economic study, confirming the Kimmeridge and Weald Basin as national significance. Gl significant upside ahead. :-))) | moneymunch
15/4/2016 09:24 | thanks robbie.......... | hazl
15/4/2016 08:47 | Hazle- There is a lot of info in the public domain. Ukog are changing the history books with what has happened at HH. Just keep an eye on the large trades as news will leak. I actually think they will release news on a Friday so it will get greater effect IF the news is to be very good. This will allow figures to be digested on a weekend and will have a greater effect on the share price come the Monday morning to which UKOG will then place. IF it is really good I can see them getting a premium on the placing. Only my Opinion and what I would be looking to do in SS shoes. So I say next Friday or the fri after. Of course if the reports come back on a Monday the bod will have to release as there will be leaks galore here-it is aim after all. Money- IOW could well be bigger and turn out to be a very good investment. If Ukog have got plenty of oil to extract from HH it will speed the processes up for further work across the weald and IOW. All on figures and how quickly things can move now after news hits. I fully expect Ukog to be into double figures over the next year | robbie1424
15/4/2016 08:26 | some interesting posts | hazl
15/4/2016 07:58 | It is not too difficult to work out where the original idea came from. We are looking at history. Wytch farm has at least 6 sites with a minimum of 9 wells per site rising to over 50 on one of them. They normally arrange the wells in rows of 11. The only difference is the well heads are above ground as the sites are all surrounded by trees and few are powered by nodding donkey. | beebong1
15/4/2016 06:34 | This is what Sanderson wants to do for Horse Hill and the Weald Basin...courtesy of DL ;-))) One company hit pay dirt with a technological advancement that promises to propel the U.S. to energy superstar status. Recently, energy company Encana (NYSE: ECA) completed a mind-blowing 51 wells on one pad site to drill gas from an entire canyon in Parachute, Colorado. Think about this... Encana's pad site is 4.6 acres in size above surface. However, using its multi-well pad drilling technology, it was able to access a full square mile of underground resource. That's 640 acres underground from a 4.6-acre above-ground pad site. Apart from the pad site, the entire canyon remains green and untouched as if nothing is going on but the company will drill more gas from this site than it ever has from any previous well pad. That's just one drilling site. With the Octopus, multiple buried wells can be accessed. Once it was proven how powerful this technology is, major oil producers began quietly bypassing traditional drilling methods in favor of the Octopus. Last year, Devon Energy (NYSE: DVN) drilled 36 wells from a single pad site in the Marcellus. The Octopus is quickly becoming the norm and for good reason.. | moneymunch
14/4/2016 23:13 | News soon hang on to those shares lths. If you're short then you had better start running. Gla | gismo
14/4/2016 20:00 | Good news coming soon, and so maybe plenty of upside tomorrow in anticipation of the Nutech/Xodus reserves update and the potential of $50 plus a barrel by Monday morning on a positive outcome from Doha on Sunday. Gla ;-) 21/3/16 Way Forward Given these exceptional results, the Company has commissioned Nutech to investigate a possible upgrade to the oil in place ("OIP") calculated within all 3 test zones together with engineering studies to examine possible flow rates from a horizontal well. Reservoir engineering analyses by Nutech and Xodus are also underway, and will likely result in an estimation of potential recoverable volumes. Results of these studies will be reported shortly. Preparation is now underway to obtain regulatory permissions to conduct extended production tests from all 3 zones at the site, followed by a horizontal sidetrack in the Kimmeridge and a possible new Portland development well. Flow Test Highlights -- The final Portland test of 323 bopd, over an 8.5-hour, period is the highest stable dry oil flow rate from any onshore UK Portland well. On further testing, with a larger pump, the rate doubled from the previously reported stable dry oil rate of 168 bopd. The Portland was produced at maximum pump capacity and showed no clear indication of depletion. It is likely that the rate can be further increased using a higher capacity downhole pump during the next planned test. -- Proof that the Kimmeridge limestones contain significant volumes of moveable light oil that can be flowed to surface at commercial rates -- As previously reported, the stable, natural dry-oil flow rate of 464 bopd from the Lower Kimmeridge Limestone is the first ever flow from this rock unit in the Weald Basin and onshore UK -- Based on the analysis of published reports from all significant UK onshore discovery wells, the Company concludes that the well's 1688 bopd is likely the highest aggregate stable dry-oil flow from any onshore UK new field wildcat discovery well -- Based on the analysis of published reports from all significant UK onshore discovery wells, the Company concludes that the 901 bopd from the Upper Kimmeridge zone is likely the highest stable natural dry oil flow rate from a single reservoir in any UK onshore new field wildcat discovery well -- High quality Brent Crude produced: light, sweet oil (40 degrees API in Kimmeridge, 35-37 degrees API in Portland) 1,940 barrels delivered to the Esso Fawley refinery -- Preliminary analysis confirms that the Lower and Upper Kimmeridge Limestone units are naturally fractured reservoirs with high deliverability -- Strong possibility for further optimisation and increased flow rates from all 3 zones in future development and production wells, particularly through the use of horizontal wells | moneymunch
14/4/2016 09:42 | The chart looks perfectly poised for good news from Nutech/Xodus and Ernst and Young and the share price looks like an absolute bargain considering the stunning free flow from the Kimmeridge limestones and the potential ahead. Full market appreciation on its way. Gla :-) | moneymunch
14/4/2016 09:35 | just feeling the next 'leg up' brewing. tempted to top up. See that oil pries expected to rise through the year, should add extra impetus to the share price | blueteam

14/4/2016 08:20 | Hazl- its the quiet before the storm-relax | robbie1424
13/4/2016 16:23 | The Kimmeridge Interval that extends across the Weald Basin and the majority of Ukog's license area's, is an oil saturated compact pressured shale/clay formation, and because it is pressed so "tightly" they didn't think they'd be able to extract the oil conventionally, but there are three limestone strata that run through this shale/clay and Ukog have flow tested the top two which are c100 ft thick each. Limestone is naturally fractured, porous and fissured and soaks up the oil from the shale, and the recent flowtest has exceeded all expectations and this is just from a vertical well, and so one can imagine how much oil will flow from a multi-pad horizontal set up, drilling through both layers in all directions, with more oil flowing into the limestone from the shale as it's extracted. The Kimmeridge interval covers most of the South East and is the source rock for the North Sea, much of the middle east including Saudi Arabia and many of the analogous shale plays in the US.....potentially this could be massive and is very likely of national significance and transformational for all invested. Gl:-) | moneymunch
13/4/2016 16:19 | There we go blue and the big buyer continues 500,000 a time. | datait
