We've had lenigas tweeting that they don't need cash now and saying that he hasn't heard anything about a cash raising exercise by UKOG.

He'd look very silly if subsequently it was true. I don't believe it is worth it at this time. The premium just isn't good enough!

Looks like a buying op to me and I've gone all in

Personally I don't think a placing is on the cards anytime soon. Certainly not in the short term anyway. Why would they when they have cash in the bank?!?

Lol utter tosh, the flow test on the upper limestone has maybe only just begun and so no one know's how much it's flowing....BMD implied days ago that it wasn't flowing as much as the lower, when clearly the test hadn't started....and Ukog have got £4.5m cash in the bank and so no immediate need for a cash as per DL's tweet..... i'm topping up...GL ;-)

money 2 have placed...evo and stg...solo had funny share price action this week...ive got out...and ukog will go same way..we can compare next week. gl but i have afeeling even if there is a flow rate it wont be what most are expecting to the negative side...plus looks like ...bmd crew have got a heads up...gl hope your brave call works out...ive gone back in to the bunker:)

ps the fact someone posted they have the tankers organised ...and yet no one asked how did they do the first flow tests??? personally believe they have results and sitting on them to get out placings...then we will get the usual gumph..and pi's will be burnt...this has almost 100% drop possible from 3p to 1.5p:(

Looks like this report of a placing has struck a chord.

The last placing on the 10th June 2015 was flagged marginally in advance at a 10% discount and later the same day they'd placed 266,666,667 new shares at 2.25p to raise £6m.

Although it touched the 2.25 shortly after, it did recover marginally before falling further. Seems odd that they should place at what would be relatively little more than the price before they struck oil!

Bitter sweet if indeed true, but could be at a premium on the back of the next flowtest data, but a clear indication of confidence from the city if as high as £10m, which would be quite a war chest for Ukog to develop HH and the rest of their prospects as well as increasing their acerage as highlighted in today's results. GLA ;-)

The UK onshore continues to be an attractive buyer's market for assets given the Company's cash position.

As ever yours truly has managed to get the info no one else can, on the Horse Hill players. I can exclusively reveal that UK Oil & Gas (LON: UKOG) (As well as others) are lining up a huge placing on the back of their Horse Hill success story. The last piece of the jigsaw fell into my lap this afternoon. Our City sources have confirmed it. It’s a tightly kept secret however we have four different sources all confirming that the Jermyn St bat phones have been buzzing since last week putting out the placing feelers. Not only on UKOG but on most of the HH players. There’s a big dilutive placing being lined up, we believe it could be in as high as £10,000,000
