I'd now leave it a week and see how the new earnings season goes.

Interesting, share price now wound back to close yesterday's gap up, Informa up 3.66% as I type. Private equity to make a play for INF?

Possible merger with Informa.
Market caps of the combined companies should be well over 3 billion and therefore candidate for FTSE100 entry.

Pre-close Trading Update due Thursday 26 June.

So the transfer of company registration to Jersey is approved, effective date of the Scheme 30 June, there should be no stamp duty on purchases of the New UBM shares. However as the tax base will be in Ireland there are some differences.

Dividend withholding tax
Dividends paid by New UBM will generally be subject to Irish dividend withholding tax (DWT) at the standard rate of income tax (currently 20 per cent.) unless the shareholder is within one of the categories of exempt shareholders.
See the prospectus for new UBM shares and if you hold shares in a nominee account make sure your account provider applies for exemption

Seems quite positive today following the AGM and publication of the prospectus to re-list in Jersey with tax base in Ireland.

Nice push upwards out of that consolidation zone.
Close to my 621 target (post 67)

Very quiet here.
Consolidating nicely at this level.
Upside target 621 if market is positive.
Moving tax base to Ireland taken as positive I guess.

Fantastic result, along with WPP. Sit back, relax and watch the shares fly to 600 or even beyond.

the management is doing well and if the forecast is correct, there would be special div again either this year or next. company is focusing on face-to-face events income from which are more visible, predictable and cash generative. pr news wire earning will only get stronger considering the market position it has. so i am in.

Thanks, wouldn't read too much into the announcement as they have been doing that for the last couple of months and the share has continued to go down!

I reckon it could break to 20-day and hit the 50-day MA again. Came up on a scan. Not sure if it would break the 50-day. Looks like support now. The fact the company announced buying 100k of its own shares for cancellation on Friday must be seen as positive. Here's a snapshot just now:
