Still haven't made a move yet, but may do tomorrow. Can't see why the price went up today, unless the market was expecting the news to be worse.

Well these have hit 550p today. The profit warning less than a month ago was at 570p and they fell 100p. I haven't noticed an economic turnaround - has anyone else?

I'm short at 530 - but it seems to be reluctant to fall - most irritating....

I was hoping it would go up again today so as to go short around 550p. Should still be okay at this price though ?

I have noticed that there are a few shares around that despite being surrounded by doom and gloom, somehow defy gravity. This is (was) one.

Schroders have upped their stake, but the price is now down to 530p.

Looks like their could still be more downside to come(IMHO).

The Daily Mail has this in it's 'broker sells' column today.

It goes on to say 'ING Barings Charterhouse says sell at 525p (now 569p). There are relatively high downside risks attached to earnings'.

Time to go short ?

Any views ?

Positive news from Morgan Stanley in what is a very depressed market is a joy to see.

When are the next interims due for UBM?
Personally I don't see a bounce from 350-360 until it falls to 300
unless its shows that the US will not pull it back further.
