I think they will be in all pharmacy chains eventually and there are plans for other countries as well. This is just the start! Good to see that the price has reacted positively. I think there could be a rerating in the next week or so and as we know from last year, this can move very fast when it gets some momentum.

Mine was the first buy this morning of 30k so I started the ball rolling......

Obviously more big sign ups in the pipeline given they have allocated funds for further UK and EU roll outs.

Yes, this was on the cards...both the launch in the UK and the placing. Nice to see them both out of the way.

And there we are as predicted. The fund raising was oversubscribed so there may well be a good after market.

Excellent news and onwards and upwards! This is going to be a little gem!

The next big news will be the signing up of distributors in the Uk. I am sure this will be all the normal suspects such as Boots, Lloyds etc. Of course Boots is the big one and I think we will hear soon. The big head lice time in the Uk is when the kids go back to school in September. I suspect all sides know this is the key date to make sure product is on the shelves.....

Its all about perception in the minds of investors right now - give them a sniff of a 100m barrel find and they'll ride the price up 100% in anticipation. Give them a solid company with global products and world class distribution partners and they'll sell off in boredom.

I'm waiting for the share price to either find a natural floor, or for definitive proof that their products are 'flying off' the shelf leading to visible positive cash flow, but at this price, it does feel and smell very very cheap.

As for the market being a perfect mechanism, look at LGO to see how the market can substantially misprice a stock before rerating it off the back of solid news.

I can see something similar here, once we get visibility on sales.

Ah now almost equal with 110m tyru and tyr 95m but I agree £16m sounds about right. I picked up more tyru today at 7.7p but they don't seem keen to negotiate. I do find it amazing that those of us regulars on this board were pleading with investors not to pay 20p+ for tyru when tyr was 14p but nobody wants them now!

DVI,

With just over 200m shares in issue we are sitting with a current market cap of about £16m. The shares are split roughly 75% TYR(150m), 25% TYRU(50m).

Yes, given the share split and the different sp's it's a bit of a pain to work out exactly but as long as we know roughly that'll do me.

In my opinion we are deep into bargain territory now.

Different companies have different policies and I tend to buy a blend of tyr and tyru anyway. At the moment only tyru obviously but I used to favour tyr at a discount. Having read the Amazon reviews on Vamousse (assuming genuine), I'm really warming to the shares again and relaxed about future fundraisings as they should be on the back of backing opportunities rather than keeping us afloat.

Re market cap, is it really now just £7m or do we need to add both shares together? Either way, if we crack the head lice market, this offers massive upside.

DVI. W8BEN?
You don't need it to buy TYRU.

I agree Michael. It looks like I was the only buyer last week, which is why the share price has drifted but these things can change very quickly. The main problem is getting w8ben forms completed and this takes time.

hash, I can't change the main chart as this is part of the thread epic/default setting. The chart that I have used is a 'live' so may update, not 100% sure, if it doesn't I can try something else.

Cheers,

Amazon review. July 11th. Halifax (UK)

Abstract:

"THIS IS THE BEST EVER LICE TREATMENT!!! - I will use the shampoo every month or two as a precaution but this is fantastic. The WHOLE SCHOOL is now using it!"

Good news, but I am puzzled how someone in Halifax, England, got hold of it.

Shroder. Any chance you can change the chart to show TYRU which is the quoted share in the UK?

I have removed the TyraTech header link to market cap as stopped updating. Let me know when it's back up and working.

The customer with the low rating was complaining solely about aspects of applying the product. She makes no reference whatsoever to whether it worked or not! If I were TYR customer relations I'd certainly want to ask her that. Another point worth making is that Amazon have taken Vamousse into their own directly held stock ie not being offered on the Amazon website but stocked by and delivered from a third party as is often the case. That's encouraging too.

Information about Vamousse at this link.

hxxp://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/lookup.cfm?setid=d4019441-1ea9-47b8-adee-38fba79980b0

The amazon reviews were generally very positive.
One that wasn't (one star) had a comment from Tyratech customer support asking the person to contact them. That's encouraging.

I increased my spread bet position yesterday. It was done through Spreadex and they don't seem to hedge the purchases in the market!

So I did purchase more as promised!

Two points:Regarding lack of buying ... I bought on the day following the presentation but the sale never showed up on ADVFN - so this might well be happening with other trades too. With regard to efficacy of Vamousse ... Just go onto the US website at www.amazon.com, type in Vamousse and read the customer product reviews as I did. End of discussion!

in fact they do list tea tree oil on the ingredients list. for the last few years people have been purchasing tea tree products for lice treatment but not paying premium prices.
for the record i was formulating products in the pharmaceutical industry and have been selling pharmaceutical products including lice treatments for many years.
nobby i will look at the price of this share in 6 months time and leave you to promote it in the meantime. you are quite correct i dont think this share is for me.

My recollection of the salt/Vamousse story as told to me by BJ (at the same Proactive Presentation).

Salt (NaCl) in a 1% per cent solution is a recognised Homeopathic remedy accepted by the licencing authorities.

Tyratech have added salt to the other active ingredients in Vamousse so that it qualifies as a homeopathic product (salt is not the active ingredient). Other companies have followed this same route to market (Vosene variant?) because it is easier/cheaper/legal.

The concentration of active (based on derivatives of naturally occurring compounds) ingredients is below the level that they have to be added to the contents list in the USA.

I believe the regime in the EU is different.

If the product(s) work as well as claimed in the video, then I too believe that they will "walk" off the shelves. If they don't, then ....

However, I will wait until the end of year before deciding on that.

Oh dear Harold you really haven't got a clue about market dynamics and marketing have you. I really don't think companies like TYR are for you and I would stick to FTSE 100 stocks if I were you ;o)
