06/1/2014 12:48 | apols - just noticed that myself - remind me not to trust google when looking for articles no more than 24 hrs old......... | mdchand
06/1/2014 11:00 | Strange it hasn't been RNS'd? Edit - New Anti-Endoparasitic Composition Patents for Human and Animal Health 07 January 2013 Bit out of date??? | techair
27/12/2013 10:12 | Thanks everyone for a high quality of debate and detail in 2013. I am feeling jaded after a difficult year but this is one where I am expecting great progress in 2014. | deepvalueinvestor
26/11/2013 10:58 | Seller cleared out if I'm reading this correctly. MM's didn't want to entertain a small FoK at 4.6 yet they were selling at 4.55 earlier. Don't be surprised if this is Alan Reade 26/11/13 12:05 4.55 425,000 26/11/13 10:57 4.55 425,000 | michaelsadvfn
26/11/2013 08:27 | With TYR & TYRU shares being quoted at different prices I suppose the best gague of the market cap has to be the current trade prices. Buys going through TYRU at around the 4.5p mark give us a market cap of about £7.5m. 1m TYRU shares have been bought since the mm's dropped the price on Friday. Just who is selling? | michaelsadvfn
25/11/2013 14:10 | I think worth posting this up from TYR website as a lot of financial sites including ADVFN have the shares in issues (so ultimately the market cap too) incorrect on TYR TyraTech currently has 168,776,305 common share in issue of which 1,084,413 are held in Treasury. The number of restricted common shares trading under TIDM 'TYR' is 117,352,576 and the number of unrestricted common shares trading under TIDM 'TYRU' is 51,423,729. Settlement of shares trading under "TYRU" is available via CREST. | techair
25/11/2013 09:01 | Dummy sell - was offered 4.26 for 50k so all trades today seem to be buys. | michaelsadvfn
22/11/2013 14:21 | Nice... 22/11/2013 14:15:50 TYRU 4.59 O 45,000 22/11/2013 14:07:45 TYRU 4.50 O 55,000 Couldn't pass on that if someone is daft enough to sell 100k @ 4p. XCAP also seems to have a line of stock to shift now... | michaelsadvfn
21/11/2013 16:05 | I see the market makers are walking this lower on little volume. Could do with some positive news about a Vamousse deal, which hopefully can't be too far away. | zelder
08/11/2013 06:31 | It doesn't worry me, no. I would obviously prefer it if we had some volume but we don't. There's nothing I can do about that. Take a look at the chart for Marechale Capital(MAC)...very similar to TYR, days and weeks went by without any trades until one RNS sparked everyone's interest. It's up 350% since the summer. | michaelsadvfn
07/11/2013 14:02 | Been in this stock nearly 4 years now and have heard it all before, sorry. Does it not worry you that other holders/investors think the same as we have a positive note out from one of the joint brokers yesterday and we don't have a single trade? IMHO | techair
07/11/2013 10:33 | Things going well behind the scenes I think. Vamoose hitting the pharmacy shelves both in the UK & USA shortly. Terminix sprays - "Envance Technologies will be positioning its Terminix ultimate protection product line in several more U.S. major retail outlets during the first part of 2014." The icing on the cake would be news that TYR is shipping products to Novartis. Next update could be the one that gets the share price moving. | michaelsadvfn
06/11/2013 18:39 | The most important product in the short term is Vamoose. At the Proactive Investor meeting last month the chairman said a deal with certain chains in the UK was imminent. Don't forget he bought a big chunk of stock after that presentation so he is apparently not worried about the cash position. The Vamoose is going to be the best selling product IMHO and is the most important aspect to focus on in the short term. GLA Nobby | nobbygnome
06/11/2013 17:22 | hxxp://www.proactive Singers update on TYR. Nothing new although no mention of how Home Depot is going and I see that one of TYRs' products has been dropped from their website so just 2 showing now. Same old same old on that front IMHO | techair
03/11/2013 18:39 | mdchand I think you may have got that wrong. TYR has a JV with American Vanguard (AMV). AMV finances that JV (stock working cap etc) with no recourse to TYR. Therefore, some delay in sales has no effect until the JV makes sufficient profit to pay a dividend to its owners. That has always been at least two years away. | sidam
03/11/2013 11:06 | Nothing entirely unexpected here, but the lack of traction on the sales front re Terminix may suggest that TYR may face some short term cash flow issues. BUT, such products, if genuinely better than the competition, do eventually end up penetrating the public's consciousness and becoming the defacto brand to buy. its simply a matter of time versus cash burn although some high profile independent tests ala Which (or whatever the US equivalent is) would definitely accelerate the process. | mdchand
01/11/2013 02:33 | American Vanguard's Q3 Earnings were reported yesterday. Nothing new concerning TyraTech but have copied part of the transcript where we were mentioned. Eric G. Wintemute - Chairman and Chief Executive Officer: We continue to make progress on our consumer pest control initiative. Envance Technologies will be positioning its Terminix ultimate protection product line in several more U.S. major retail outlets during the first part of 2014. We expect that this broader market coverage, along with new more attractive packaging, will give these products the market traction they need to succeed in a highly competitive consumer marketplace. The total global market for such spray treatments that kill crawling, flying and stinging insects is several billion dollars per year, and we believe that this highly effective breakthrough technology can successfully penetrate that segment by addressing the growing demand for effective solutions that are safe for families and pets. Indeed, independent testing of these formulations demonstrate that they are as or more effective than the leading brands on the store shelves today. Additionally, a roughly 30% stake in TyraTech will allow us to participate in the personal care and animal health markets. Commercialization of a safe and highly effective head lice treatment and an outstanding mosquito repellent that does not contain DEET is expected to occur during the first part of 2014. | zelder
22/10/2013 13:53 | Well if the 1.8m were Director buys we would surely have had the RNS by now. Just short of £100k so someone likes the prospects.... But we have a persistent daily seller... 23/10/2013 16:29:38 TYRU 5.00 O 50,000 23/10/2013 16:29:16 TYRU 5.00 O 50,000 | michaelsadvfn
21/10/2013 15:35 | Columbus BUY note out today with a price target of 12p. However seeing as they are joint broker, why on earth are they saying that cash balances could be down to $1m by year end when AR has said in the most recent presentation that TYR should be OK until June 2014 (was it)? Either way looks like another placing on its way IMHO | techair
21/10/2013 14:22 | Yes, if Bruno has bought following AR's 675k recent purchase it sure would be a vote of confidence. They're only just out of the close period so it could well be. I added a few myself. | michaelsadvfn
21/10/2013 14:14 | Who knows. But I'd certainly like to see Bruno Jactel buying. | somerset lad
21/10/2013 13:23 | Hello... 21/10/2013 13:21:45 TYRU 5.50 O 900,000 21/10/2013 13:21:39 TYRU 5.50 O 900,000 That's 3.5% of the TYRU shares. Alan Reade? Bruno Jactel? | michaelsadvfn
17/10/2013 10:22 | You can now buy TYRU at less than the TYR bid... how odd. | michaelsadvfn |
