Can't get a fixed price quote for even a measily 10K, hardly fits with the fat spread and knock back on the bid into the close yesterday. Bent, laughable market if ever there was.

LOL, I can only get a quote for 1 whole share

Thankfully when I asked questions at the last Proactive conference I went to, you could only hear me and not see me....

The slides should become available later today, the videos of the presentations normally take 2-3 days to appear, I will post the links to these when I receive them from Dimple at Shares Mag.

Bruno put in a polished performance as usual, quite a few interesting Q&As at the end, especially from the youthful, handsome, dapper looking chap (I jest) in the second row from the front.

I also spoke to to all three of the Tyrotech directors who were in attendance after the meeting, so I will write up a few notes (with an emphasis on those post meeting conversations) later today.

LOL

I bought the TYR because the RSP is only showing 25k TYRU on offer at 3.99p and they are bidding up for 100k. So I don't think it will take much to get the price going north again.

I'm based in Portugal so currency movements are something I always have to watch.
In the last year the £/€ has swung from 1.25 to 1.42 and all the back to 1.25.

At the top I was sitting on an extra 13% profit in € terms but that has all been eroded. Scary stuff.

Thanks for bringing me up to speed michaelsadvfn.

Those currency headwinds.
Will they turn into tailwinds once TYRATECH becomes profitable ?

mudbath,

If I'm not mistaken pharmaceutical products in France are only available at independent pharmacies; supermarkets aren't allowed to sell them. This is certainly the case in Belgium where Carrefour has a large presence.

There are no chains such as Boots/Rowlands/Superdrug and neither will there be. There are laws in place to protect the interests of the independent pharmacists.

Welcome to socialist Europe.

Having just watched this mornings presentation by Bruno Jactel I have to feel even more enthused.
Two additional points (as opposed to information provided with the prelims)stood out for me.
Firstly was the point "the strong partner" already appointed to address the french pharmaceutical chains was "as we speak" in negotiations enroll further multiple retail opportunities across France.
(How long will it be before Auchan or Carrefour etc are announced as separate countrywide outlets)
Secondly was BJ's assertion that as each month went by his company was moving towards profitability.
This speaks to me of sustained increasing sales momentum.

That explains why the price held up during the day despite there apparently being more sells than buys.

I have now had time to read the Allenby note. Having read it, of course revenues are going to grow sharply and profitability will come. Although progress will not necessarily be smooth this company is as close to a no brainer as you can get IMHO.

I agree with mudbath. The price was only held back today by us flippers. I expect a steady increase in the TYRU share price over the coming weeks. As we all know nothing ever goes up in a straight line so it may come back before it goes up but I would be very surprised if the price wasn't comfortably higher by mid Summer. Of course there should be various bit of news along the way to help us along!

I agree - the share price has held up quite well - although I could sell in quite a large volume (500k) for 3.7 but at times couldn't buy more than 50k - so something is happening to picl up the slack.

It helps that we have a lot of shares out of public hands I guess.

The interview today and the analyst note was very bullish over the next 12+ months - and I like the fact we didn't have a spike - I really distrust spikes and I hope we can just consistently grow to 8p+ over the next few months...

I do not believe that investors will see the full potential for capital appreciation here for a 8/18months; so I am more than happy to buy TYR on a 12 month view, particularly as one is able to switch,as at present,at levels that should yield an additional 20% profit.

With Nobby and myself selling into the larger TYRU rise today in order to reinvest in TYR,I think that the share price has held up remarkably well, particularly as there will have been some profits taken by the short termers..
