Interesting link to Sainsbury's above.
It appears to me that they are mixing up treatment (160mL) and prevention shampoo (200mL), and costing the treatment at the shampoo price.

The cheapest Amazon price is £12.70($24.99 in the USA) and I know it's selling well because I check the inventory every day.

Harold,

You say you have not seen any demand for the product but what about the other treatments out there, is there demand for them?
I saw one review on Amazon.com where the customer said 'the whole school is using it'. So it is selling, but maybe your area doesn't have serious head lice infestations? Just a thought.
The upcoming figures won't tell us that much as they don't include a head lice season. It's the 2H figures that will be interesting, although the 'Post-period-end' comments will be worth watching out for.

By the way, some children out there found it necessary to red flag your post, undoubtedly harrissen & Professor Pettigrew being 2 of them.

I welcome your input.

That post was incorrect was it carelessness, an honest mistake or do you have an agenda ?

Sainsbury's Prices from website 15th September

Vamousse Head Lice Treatment 200ml £10 - Full Price

Vamousse Head Lice Protection 200ml Only £6.00: Save £2.00

So they are not selling at 50% of RRP as you claimed.

hxxp://www.sainsburys.co.uk/ (just type "Vamoussse" into search box TRHC)

sainsbury are selling the mousse half price today. if they are selling at 50% of rrp what are they paying for it ? my problem with this product has been the price to the consumer. the ceo thought it was a premium product that should be sold at a premium price. people with long hair will require a lot of product and for a family thats expensive.
i told him i disagreed with premium pricing as people would not want to pay for 4 cans for 4 hairy people =£60 ouch.
now at 750 per can it is more realistic. its not available on the nhs or minor ailment schemes so price is key.
will be interesting to see their figures.
i have not seen any demand for the product at all. perhaps my patients do not watch the tv channels where it is advertised.
i spoke to a superdrug pharmacist who said they have only just received the product and that is in a large branch. they could not tell me what the sales have been or the demand.

First time I have seen this article, from late last year...

10 bagger from 8.625 thinks the author.

Why this share is trading at 5p is beyond me.

I have yet to come across anyone who can explain those 1 trades. It just doesn't make any sense. It's almost as if the mm's know there's interest and throw one in because some do believe it's some kind of sign.

Also, contrary to popular belief, mm's don't get news of an upcoming RNS ahead of the rest of us.

Nonsense or not, why would a 1 share O trade ever exist for a SEAQ share ?. Clearly not a real punter and not a remainder resulting from SETS trading. Suspect RNS within a couple of days, insiders already aware, hence the buying. Same old bent markets.

Vamousse is flying off the Amazon shelves.

The 2 cheapest retailers on Amazon(iPharmacy & Medideals) both sold out today, now you have to pay almost £15 with one of the dearer retailers.

If Vamousse is flying off the shelves of Amazon and Walmart there's no reason to think it isn't flying off the shelves everywhere...watch out for the next trading statement.

colin,

There are 2 lines of stock here, TYR & TYRU.

It's actually better today to buy the TYR stock. If you hold them for 12 months they will then automatically be converted to TYRU shares at no cost to you.
