Erm, excuse me, it would be good if Tyratech could return as the focus of any narrative.

TIA.

I see yet another after-the-market-close trade. We've had over 1.5m shares bought this month yet there was no online quote to sell even 10k shares today so where are they coming from?

BIKWIK reports that he, "finally I scrolled through all of the 2,300 charts on the London market yesterday....took me all day (I don't do it very often!!). I pulled out 22 stocks.

However, I was tired and punch drunk, but I have listed them below."

At the top of BIKWIK's list......

TYRU !

Earlier this year AMVAC said that it was strengthening strategic cooperations & alliances to address the adverse market environment.
It could be that this led on to the Joint Development and License Agreement announced by Tyratech on July 4th.
Interestingly though,AMVAC went on to restate that they had, " invested in TyraTech, a firm in the United Kingdom that specializes in identifying and commercializing effective pest control products using mineral oil technology. Through the AMVAC/TyraTech joint-venture Envance, several new products have been introduced and their market potential is considerable. These products only inhibit invertebrates, and have no detrimental effects on human or animal vertebrates, and their efficacy in killing insects is equal to or greater than the effectiveness of current synthetic chemistry."

"Their market potential is considerable" as surely is the the IP in Tyratech's own fields of personal care and animal health.

There seems little doubt that Tyratech's patented technology is gaining a growing foothold.Hopefully the ongoing strategic review will enable Tyratech to strengthen its position financially ,which should in turn enable a positive EBITA position to be achieved at an earlier date.

It is worth noting that AMVAC lost some 70% of its market value in the three year period ended at the commencement of 2016,where after the share price has shown a steady recovery.

It will be reassuring if the Tyratech Interim Results enable the share price to move away, decisively, from recent lows.

It would be good if Tyratech could return as the focus of any narrative.

(The fact that head lice are becoming resistant to treatment has left doctors and scientists scratching their heads)

Thank goodness david won't be posting on the 29th September.

A day without, 'Good morning and best wishes to all genuine holders' nonsense.

Pathetic.

427k sold, 1m bought. Trades 6 & 7 were a rollover.

There's no good reason to have finished the day down so I don't know what the market makers are up to.

A pound to a penny says this share price will be considerably higher this time next week.

There were some interesting moves today with over 2,000,000 shares traded. It looks to me as though positions are being taken, .If we see anything like that volume again tomorrow then we might see further price movements, hopefully, at the very least, serving to reverse today's fall.

Who on earth sells 948 shares?

If I did that I'd end up with -£2.55. lol

3 full sessions until results. I wonder how their reorganisation is progressing? On 9th May they were in the final stages of valuing Vamousse so I'd expect to hear something on that front.

The MM's have upped the bid again, from 1.12 to 1.16 for large.

IG Index aren't allowing any long positions, only short.

Interesting,thanks, clocktower.
It seems that the subject received wide coverage back in July.

"Smartphones blamed for dramatic rise in head lice as ..children gather together to view screens." (Telegraph)

Another positive then for Tyratech ?

I am not sure of the mechanics, michalsadvfn, yet if I tried to deal after 4.30 the message would be(hard luck)market closed.

What I am sure of is that the late 50k buy that you highlighted is one of a pattern of large buys executed within seconds of the close (or after it),all for round amounts, throughout August, generally at full ask, totalling well over 1 million shares.
This is a new trend, not seen ,for example in July or earlier.

It might amount to nothing, yet it is an interesting development.

I wasn't trying to buy today so I don't know what was available at what price.
It's possible someone was trying to buy those 50k but couldn't get an online quote so just left the order sitting there.
Have you ever tried buying at 16.34?

michaelsadvfn

Buy any share at 4.30 pm on a Friday and the MMs will seek full ask.
Nevertheless,your "nibbles" do add up.
One wouldn't know it from looking at the share price, yet the Tyratech IP could not be more topical, relevant and demonstrably of interest to global corporates.
Roll on that re-rating !

Some nibbling on both sides lately & a late published 181k buy here.

Maybe this will finally start on the road to recovery.
