Switched on Sky News a while ago to see Ed Truell talking about (I think) the possibility of bidding for Tata's UK steel operations. Wants to save the pension fund as well by persuading the trustees to move out of gilts and into higher-yielding long-term infrastructure investments.

Probably won't leave him much time to think about putting together a bid for Tungsten while all that's going on...

"In ten years’ time most organisations will be sending invoices electronically, there is no doubt about it.” Two new Tungsten articles (I was about to write testicles, Freudian slip I suppose) and a short video on the Telegraph website:

Well, it doesn't say, of course not. I mean, I understand hiring a president (and maybe a second-in-command, a post that was advertised in late May) to lay the groundwork, maybe even hire a minion - sorry officer - but three officers just on the off chance? Especially when this is a company that's cutting down on expenses to try and break even next year?

Still, I'm not deluded (no more than normal for a TUNG shareholder anyway) to expect any sudden surge in TEP uptake over the past couple of months, but surely they ought to have noticed a trend in that direction, no?

This is truly one stock for the long run, and it might have finally found a bottom here (40-50 p) after all the shorting, fear of bankruptcy, Brexit, CEO change etc. But who knows?

Don't bet the farm.

On people buying - when the share price rises on low volume, it can mean someone is buying.

On calling the bottoms - Irritatingly I left a buy at 44 that never got filled - I think the offer price never quit hit that level.

On the upcoming results - my geuss - and that's all it is
- is eps = -18.25 to -18.75

c/f brokers reckoning -20.0

I look forward to TUNG's forward looking statements.
