I am starting to think this stick is doomed.

This stock is in a big down channel, support at 280p was broken but in the short term the bottom of the down channel is around 235/240p, a close above 280p would be slightly positive but one would still be inside the down channel.

To breakout to the upside of this terrible down channel would need the share price to close above 355p approx.

The chart is terrible, they don't lie, 100p max downside, could be a big blow out downside move coming up.

Too much bad news being hidden under the carpets I feel, time will tell if they ever get their act together again.

This wil rise again tomorrow. For some people it wil always need to be lower before they get in and before they know it they missed the boat.

100p I wish, but apparantly you know nothing about charts.

Buy some. And buy some more when, if ever, it gets to 100p.
you won't regret neither.

P.S. BTW, do you know CNOOC stood up the Ugandan .gov, to back Tullow and Total?
It's just one of those signs that should tell you to try and turn 'your' TLW-chart the right side up. Otherwise just think about CNOOC's motives.

Further consider Kenya playing ball and the current drilling across the Atlantic. And meanwhile the West-African assets delivering.

Bid round in Madagascar coming up and plenty of cheap acquisition targets around.

And you never know... Wasn't it around the start up of the Kenyan campaign the company said they would not consider a bid for a period ending about not far from today?

Anyway, buy some you can hold. These prices won't last.

Tullow Oil plc with EPIC LON:TLW had its stock rating noted as ‘Reiterates217; with the recommendation being set at ‘OVERWEIGHT217; today by analysts at Barclays Capital. Tullow Oil plc are listed in the Oil & Gas sector within UK Main Market. Barclays Capital have set a target price of 550 GBX on its stock. This would indicate that the analyst believes there is a potential upside of 107.2% from today’s opening price of 265.4 GBX. Tullow Oil plc LON:TLW has a 1 year high for the share price of 782 GBX while the year low share price is currently 265.2 GBX.

330p On the 30th July day ofter half year results..that's what my target is. I reckon easily achievable :-)

Rubbish,Gas Compression system aren't shutdown for that long if the spaces required are already on board.

My information is that a replacement spare part is available from spares on the FPSO . The compressor is now 5 years old and these issues happen from time to time. The FPSO will have also be having its scheduled maintenance in November (which is allowed for in market guidance). The three week guidance from the Company on operations returning to previous levels of production looks sensible, possibly conservative.
As regards the strike affecting subcontractors which has been mentioned in the Ghana press... I believe it affects the catering staff on the rig ! As usual there is plenty of mischief being played out on these bulletin boards. I am looking forward to the update on the 29 th.
