Hi, I'm with HL and had my allocation added to my accounts yesterday, only 15% though.

I'm with hl and have had a few customer service issues this year after years of few problems - that said I noticed a very small allocation sitting in my account first thing - looks like 15% so a bit of a wasted time

Sorry for the late reply i am with Selftrade, they allocated our 15% public allocation Thursday morning.
I decided to sell them, trading on a 13% premium to net assests and little growth from here on.
At issue date I was not an existing shareholder, I think existing share holders may get a better allocation.

I'm with HL and agree they appeared slow last time. Not really knowing what they have to do or how many individual holdings they are required to process makes it hard to judge if they are inefficient or not. Given that I find them efficient at everything else, I suspect that this is perhaps a bigger job for them than some other brokers.

As an aside, it's good to see the Sp back where it was before the fund raising was announced.

HL was extremely slow last time round, so maybe unfairly assumed they were being v slow this time round. We'll all be hoping to get a decent allocation given the price rise!

Cheers skinny - at least there's a commitment to address

On the divi front they tend to be very good normally crediting by midday on the payment date

Unfortunately neither Orient nor wingrove4 nor olliemagern nor bobosh13, all of who have posted that they have been notified of their allocation, has yet come back to tell us which broker they use. I'm reluctant to conclude HL is being slow until we know others are definitely quicker.

Yes - its not very satisfactory.

I've been with HL since 1984 and up until the last few of years, they have always been very timely.

I had to chase them up to issue details of the recent offer to existing holders - they had already sent out emails about the open offer.

A phone conversation beckons....

why are HL so bad at these simple processes! I use them and Barclays.

i can't believe current pi holders will receive anything less than 50% of what they applied for. If anything they would scale back the institutional holders somewhat - knowing the pent up demand would continue to the next fund raise and they'd buy in the open market

Hl will be last again no doubt.
Will have the longest to wait to get the excess money back.

I'm a bit laid back about the small allocation.
More monies to invest in another issue i have in mind and it means my current holding is getting pushed higher by disappointed investors.Plus we have the dividend on our pre rights banked already.

Real dissapointed with my allocation..sold them straight away with a nice 6/7% gain :-) Probably would of kept hold if allocation was bigger 👍🏻

If people only received 15% does that mean there was demand of £2333m for £350m available?!
