Am a little disappointed that departing board members did not show more conviction and hold for FDA result next year.

"Satisfy market demand" phrase was used during a similar director placing in April last year. Price then was 175p. Hopefully these latest sales are not an omen of something sinister. Difficult to understand the orchestrated selling when US project has finally achieved a product approval milestone and potential comes closer... Perhaps Soler and Barnes need some money to pump into MobileODT. Only Swinney confirms in the later statement that he won't sell more shares "in the foreseeable future"

Looks like we know the reason for last weeks weakness then - clearly some in the know. I wish they wouldn't use the phrase "to satisfy institutional demand" - just so condescending. Just say you want to offload some shares and we'd respect you a lot more rather than trying to dress it up. Might be an interesting open day tomorrow now

H2 to H1 shows better sales growth momentum and is encouraging before the anticipated ramp up in sales in the US next year.

A very important announcement - Interim Chairman retiring and refreshing of the Board.
This indicates that they consider that Tristel is ready to become an 'international company' and that requires a board of directors with a different perspective.

What the "Quoted Company Alliance Corporate Governance Code for Small and Mid-Size Quoted Companies" is I don't know but costs £55 to download a copy.

May be an opportunity to top up as this seems the usual market response to what is a fairly decent update. Sad to see the Chairman go but I'm sure they will find a capable replacement and further approvals stateside plus, crucially, actual sales in the US should push the price onwards to 350.

I trade and screen out the story as its all noise/bias as far as I'm concerned. So to me we have sellers willing to sell price down and buyers not yet willing to bid it up. Suspect there were stops sitting sub 300 that got hit. I review EOD so will take stock then and see if 300 has held or not

Yet another encouraging trading update

Tristel plc (AIM: TSTL), the manufacturer of infection prevention products, provides a trading update for the year ended 30 June 2018 in advance of the Shareholder Open Day to be held at its headquarters in Snailwell, Cambridgeshire on Tuesday 17 July.

For the year ended 30 June 2018 results will be in line with expectations, showing strong growth across the business. Tristel will report record turnover of £22.2m (2017: £20.3m) and pre-tax profit (before share-based payments) of at least £4.4m (2017: £4.1m). Revenue from overseas markets contributed 51.3% of the Group total - a record level (2017: 47%). Tristel has continued to generate significant levels of cash and at 30 June 2018 cash balances were £6.7m (30 June 2017: £5.1m). The Company has no debt.

The Company will declare a final dividend for the year ended 30 June 2018 at the time of the preliminary results to be announced in October.

Looking pristine today! 350p within touching distance and as long as you wipe your hands afterwards that can't be a bad thing! Any news about being allowed to sell in one of the larger states should send this one buzzing!

I think we are about to move out of our trading range to new highs. Lots of good US to come and all completed by year end and first revenues from there in this FY. I expect 350p in short order.

Good jump today and looks like it wasn;t priced in as we head to record highs. This was 314p mid in August and we could surpass that unless Profit takers move in on the rise. The fact that the revenue will come in the current financial year helps as well as completion by year end. A significant risk has been removed and with some good news flow of states' approval tis could help teh share price to 400p.
