19/4/2021 11:36 | Re that blockchain job, nothing to do with TRD. However, note as soon as a project funding line arrives it has to be spent. Just like the $20M Stratis received 2 months ago. It gets pushed down the line rapidly, these hires might well be a direct result of that. More so, as a big part of the project managers workload at TRD will be networking. I might be wrong here, it could be non Blockchain, but it’s good either way. | sunshine today
19/4/2021 11:32 | Normally Sunshine (from my experience) about 1.3 projects. Each project will probably have on average about 10 developers/testers It will be agile. The project manager is often also the scrum master.... Depending on things. Each greenfield project tends to last 2 to 3 years. I'm talking Central Government projects here (or bigger FTSE projects). I dont have recent experience of projects that have 20 or more developers, but if Triad have won a 20+ developer project that would be quite big... well very big. | netcurtains
19/4/2021 11:28 | Next, ask ourselves how many staff and projects is a single project manager likely to have, in the chain of command under him, or her.? | sunshine today
19/4/2021 11:26 | There has also been some growth in blockchain development. Currently jobserve have at least 34 open positions for either a blockchain developer or development work that includes blockchain: Its happening now for real. | netcurtains
19/4/2021 11:22 | That is pretty big news Sunshine. Triad also have at least 19 positions open on Jobserve: | netcurtains
19/4/2021 10:55 | “ We are looking for several IT Project Managers who possess a broad level of experience in the management of projects delivering end-user computing and/or networking, in addition to the experience of supporting the re-tendering of contracts for complex technology services.” Growth comes to mind. | sunshine today
19/4/2021 05:56 | Sources of legal information, in the public domain, for those willing to spend time and energy, related to TRD Group PlC. 1/ Company web page, inc jobs advertised, case studies, past accounts, results dates, Director shareholding’s and heaps more. 2/ U.K. government contract awards 3/Sector market trends and growth rates 4/ Almost daily updates from TRd’S Blockchain partner , Stratis. Stratis is not subject to the same listing rules and can basically announce what it likes, when it likes. 5/ Funding for Stratis, Billion dollar fund, that has a direct effect on TRD ( see previous posts from Stratis, re working with TRD on Blockchain Use cases.) 6/ Results from competition companies within the sector. 7/ U.K. Government regulations on the development of Blockchain updates. 8/ Independent market research on TRD”s partner , that concludes the company will gain a C4% world market share of BAAS . 9/ C# Corner 4M plus developers who two weeks ago were given the opportunity to learn Stratis Blockchain and build apps on it. | sunshine today
19/4/2021 05:38 | Good morning, davert What can an astute investor gain knowledge from, outside an RNS.? In your case, it’s obviously zero. Enough said. | sunshine today
18/4/2021 22:21 | 'So far, I cannot recall Davert chipping in any sort of positive contribution to enlighten us new investor....' Why are you trying to encourage or enlighten new investors....? As I said before, what have you got to discuss, that isn't cheerleading, and that isn't known outside of an rns. Why are you posting anything? | davevt
18/4/2021 21:33 | 'Your welcome to challenge my 3 year profit forecast in the header.' Yes, you can't predict anything seeing as you don't work for the company and have no connection whatsoever with it, and have no idea what or what isn't in the pipeline, and can't predict the future. How was that? Easy huh 🤣 | davevt
18/4/2021 18:41 | Did anyone notice the £100,000 fall in general overhead in the first half.? Considering the extra COVID costs, to enable staff to work from home that’s of note. The second half will not have that disruption, so, we might even see yet lower central costs. PLUS full utilisation of staff. That’s an explosive mix to get margins up a few basis points. | sunshine today
18/4/2021 18:32 | From 1995 to 2000 The Nasdaq Composite index grew 400% - This was the Dot Com bubble. That bubble lead to Logica getting into FTSE100 and Triad getting into FTSE250. Psion was also going to be an iPhone before iPhones even existed. In 2021 Triad has a market cap of just £24m. Will "Build Back Better" (the global campaign by USA and UK) to computerise USA/UK out of recession lead to Triad doing well? Answer: My assumption is yes. | netcurtains
18/4/2021 18:30 | Your welcome to challenge my 3 year profit forecast in the header. We will know if my £500,000 for the second half, of last year, is in the ball park in around 8 weeks time. ( possibly this week if we get a rare trading update). | sunshine today
18/4/2021 17:50 | To equal the very best on Wall St Required growth @60% Growth year one £500,000 to £830,000. Growth year two £830,000 to £1.280 Growth year three £1.280 to £2048 Growth year four £2.048 to £3.276 Growth year five £3.276 to £5.242 | sunshine today
18/4/2021 17:44 | Shouldn't you be keeping this to yourself? Seems counterproductive to tell anyone this. | davevt
18/4/2021 17:42 | In essence if you can achieve 66% Annual compound growth your be right at the top of your game. Can TRD do it. Definitely yes if my profit forecasts are met over the next 3 years. Last year just ended £500,000 This year £2M Next year £4.7M The following year £13M. | sunshine today
18/4/2021 17:39 | Growth rates push up share prices. | sunshine today
18/4/2021 17:16 | Who cares about your speculation? 🤣 | davevt
18/4/2021 16:54 | What’s so fabulous is TRD appears to have stacks of work right now, Blockchain is not going to kick in until the second half in my opinion. The trick is to keep utilisation rates through the roof, without gaps along the road. It’s not that easy, COVID, not helping the situation. Ideally we now get a squeeze within the sector, that pushes clients to make decisions and book slots up to two years out. The competition mentioned Backlogs, last week. That does not help them win new contracts today. | sunshine today
18/4/2021 15:47 | We have repeatedly been told by TRD that last year was spent quoting for contracts and expanding the offer. One would hope for rewards this year, as a result. It takes time for tenders to come out the other end with awards. | sunshine today
18/4/2021 15:41 | I was going through the awards Kainos has won this year. Some are actually quite big. Take RM6221: It was for £800m (1/12th share or £67m). But software houses dont do RNSs for contract wins. Now because TRIAD have such a tiny market cap (£24m) a new win of a multi-million contract will do a Michael Cain: blow the ruddy doors off into orbit. So if a contract win is published that is not in a RNS small investors who like to do research can do very well. | netcurtains
18/4/2021 13:14 | Far from Spam I personally have posted TRD on the other 4 blockchain listed companies. Those that are interested, or holders of those shares. I also posted my personal worries about investing shares that are directly linked to coins and tokens. This week, and as a point in case today, we see those same coins and tokens being hammered (Bitcoin off $9,000 in under 7 days, others far more in % terms. Tomorrow, when the market opens, those shares will quite possibly slump, after already being off C40% from their highs. They may recover quickly, I have no idea, but as an investor, I don’t want to be exposed to the daily volatility. | sunshine today |
