30/11/2020 21:14 | The simple fact is that the Omanis will not let this project fail, which means that at some point somebody is going to want to acquire a valuable 16% stake in it. Pis, along with Odey, are going to get a cash payoff. Alternatively shares in a listed SPMP. Either way, looking at 50p+ for passive investment TSTR worth around £50m by mid-2021. | dr rosso
30/11/2020 21:08 | From lse bb ReplyRecommendReport Post StayLong I cannot believe what an amazing investment opportunity this has now become. It’s very clear that the reason that the price is so low is because many unfortunate investors have no other option but to sell their stock due to the proposed delisting. At first I couldn’t understand why they weren’t either crossing or buying back their shares that were held in their ISA’s or SIPPS’s. Then I realised that unless you have the actual cash in your bank account you haven’t got the money to keep them. Obviously some of the investors in the Odey fund have had this problem hence the announcement of the 3% holding being sold. And I’m guessing that there are more sell orders being worked and we will soon see another TR1 . On top of this lots of investors have panicked and sold out. So basically the MM’s have an endless supply of stock that they can call upon. It seems that many investors don’t really understand what is actually happening and new investors definitely don’t. I have been heavily invested in this for a couple of years and I am still very confident that I will get a very good return. Over the last couple of weeks I have been picking up more shares at these crazy prices and have also recommended close friends to invest. At the end of the day nothing has changed, Tri Star has a 16.3% holding in SPMP THAT CANNOT BE DILUTED . The Omani’s are heavily invested in this project and will ensure that it succeeds and once it gets to 100% capacity the revenues will be huge. Tri Star have talked of a liquidity event in the future and we also know ( hence the post from Conlonboy) that Glencore are very interested in buying it. At some stage someone will want our 16.3%. I have have told my closest friends that this is very likely to be a multi bagger from here and to pick some up whilst whilst we have this opportunity. To me the only negative is the delisting, it’s not ideal because we are at the mercy of Crispin Odey and have very little options to trade our-shares. However he has the same objective as us, he wants to realise a good return from his investment. I would guess that during the recent negotiations the Omani’s probably made an offer of around 50p and he turned it down. I think that we will end up with anything between 70p and £1.50. To me this is a no brainer, just look at the facts. | dr rosso

27/11/2020 10:59 | I've just bought a small handful. Clearly very risky and I've been burnt once before on deliberately holding a share through delisting. But if the smelter does successfully proceed to full production (which seems likely), then Tristar's 16% will be worth a lot more than £3.5M.... Even if it's diluted down to 10% by the potential events on the exception list.... I assume we would be bought out soon enough by the majority partners. Alternatively we would get a shareholding in a new listed vehicle. Odey is still keeping his 69% it seems (although to be fair with a holding that size, he can't get out in the market). He's wealthy but even he won't be wanting to just write off a holding that must have cost him £20-30M? He'll be expecting to make a return on it (or at least to greatly reduce his losses). 26/11/2020 12:55 | Notwithstanding the fact that Nov hasnt yet ended, here are the new Articles of Association as passed by special resolution on 2 Dec! TSTR a private Co. with a 16% investment in a world class minerals operation, yet the share price shows it as virtually worthless. What`s going on behind the scenes ...? Page 13 Drag interesting. Looks like purchase already lined up. Current valuation of £4m is plain crazy. | dr rosso
26/11/2020 11:46 | Interesting developments recently, I hadn't looked at TSTR for some time. Do holders genuinely think that with a 16% holding in the smelter and certain non-dilution provisions, this could be a multibagger from 3p as a private company? If so then I would have thought that delisting should be supported by PIs, because the company has minimal cash despite the $500k receipt - so annual listing costs will have to be raised by equity dilution, which of course indirectly dilutes the company's holding in SPMP. | cyberbub

25/11/2020 12:22 | Yes , clock...formality... | waldof
25/11/2020 11:34 | Is it truly a formality though? Seems to make little sense at this juncture. | cl0ckw0rk0range
25/11/2020 10:17 | Delist is a formality. Odey had to sell some from ONE of his funds that cannot invest in 'unlisted' securities. | waldof
25/11/2020 08:18 | I wonder if they did start to reduce or whether they just had to regig under a certain % holding. | cl0ckw0rk0range
25/11/2020 07:54 | Yes clock considering the major shareholder agreed to accept the resolutions with 72% leaving 3 % to find to accept then again they started to reduce telling me its not happening | w0lf0fwallstreet
