On news of the main and gold roaster the share price hit .60p, this has obviously moved on and derisked since then. Short term I do expect us to be back up at those levels.

Quidforcash on LSE TSTR. Now, I would like to read that!

I have seen a report by well a respected brokerage house which caters for high net worth clients which maps outs out a route for the share price oF between 5p -6p, such is the potential for profit in TSTR. Will it happen overnight NO, but that makes no odds at all to long term value investors. Unlike many many AIM companies OURS is in the process of the finalization of funding.

Today's announcement offers hope, but little by way of concrete progress as caveats aplenty (still).

How long does it take to submit and finalise an EIA ... and are they going for an entry in the Guinness Book?

Sounds good but from where we are it doesn't mean an awful lot.

Don't forget, you are the one that says big falls in the share price don't matter at this stage, so why do big rises? We're still only an eighth the price when most of us bought in.

Strategic and Precious Metals Processing (SPMP), which is building an antimony plant in Sohar, has plans to set up a large refractory gold sulphide treatment plant, with a capital expenditure of $350 million as part of its second phase expansion.

Emin Eyi, managing director of Tri-Star Resources, said that it would take a couple of years. The joint venture partners foresee the extension of their partnership to a second phase processing facility, which envisages using Tri-Star Resources' clean roasting technology to treat refractory gold sulfide concentrates.

The joint venture has the option to develop a further 76 hectares that has been earmarked for refractory gold sulphide treatment plant.

3 gold plants in Gulf
Eyi said around 30-50 per cent of gold in the ground is refractory and normal process does not work for recovering gold. "We think we can build three gold plants in the Gulf since the region is huge. Each plant will be able to produce half a million ounce of gold."

The FOL offers SPMP a Sharia compliant facility of up to US$40 million to be advanced on issue in Omani Rial, subject to the bank's detailed terms and conditions and the entering into of a formal Facility Agreement. Provision of the banking facility also remains subject to a number of customary pre-conditions, including obtaining required environmental and other permits.

Negotiations with the local banks are well advanced and SPMP is in receipt of banking facility terms, which SPMP is now reviewing. These terms remain subject to a number of conditions similar to those required for the OAR and include, for example, obtaining required environmental permits.


Terms of finance is EIA?

The overall environmental permitting process is continuing and the other required approvals are being sought. Further updates with regard to the progress of the overall EIA application will be provided as appropriate.

I've been trading these markets for forty years now and one thing I've learned is this. 'Don't put the cart before the horse.' Caution, not negativity is therefore my watchword. The news is welcome but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Even this morning with 'good news' the share price is now dropping back. The MM's are realists, even if others aren't. There's still a long, long way to go before some of us get a return on Tristar.
