I guess they only lose 3.8K if they don't succeed. Worth the gamble i guess.

Told Selftrade to vote NO for me, not that my paltry few will make any difference!

Hopefully we can hear the cavalry charging towards us in the distance.

Have BlackRock managed to get us a 60p,70p,or 80p counterbid?

The directors of TFC are worthless, clueless, middle aged accountants.I have said it before and will say it again.

If anything is about to happen it's got to be this week or it will be too late once the meeting's been held.

From the FT.

Trafficmaster lost 1 per cent to 47¾p ahead of Monday's shareholder meeting.

Blackrock disclosed that it had bought 384,956 shares in the telematics group at 48p, a penny above a recommended bid from private equity fund Vector Capital

Presumably they won't be too happy to get 47p for them!

Is something is going on behind the scenes, or are they are just gambling on another bid? It can't be wise to buy in the hope the scheme fails because in the short term the share price is almost certain to fall.

Anyone hearing any rumours about a higher offer?

Presumably the co will have to RNS it pronto if they have been approached.

If the bid is rejected can vector come back with an improved offer, or does everything go back to square one?

That or there are shorts trying to close out,as they have to buy the shares back.
